After these things, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, restraining the four winds of the earth so that the wind would not blow on the earth nor on the sea nor on any tree.
And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the seal of the living God, and he cried out with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to them to harm the earth and the sea
saying, “You may not harm the earth nor the see nor the trees, until we seal the slaves of our God upon their foreheads.”
And I heard the number those who were sealed, 144,000, having been sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel.
From the tribe of Judah, 12,000 having been sealed, From the tribe of Reuben, 12,000, From the tribe of Gad, 12,000,
From the tribe of Asher, 12,000, From the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000, From the tribe of Manasseh, 12,000,
From the tribe of Simeon, 12,000, From the tribe of Levi, 12,000, From the tribe of Issachar, 12,000,
From the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000, From the tribe of Joseph, 12,000, From the tribe of Benjamin, 12,000 having been sealed.
After these things I saw, and behold! a great multitude, which no one was able to count it, from every nation and tribes and peoples and languages standing before the throne and before the Lamb having been clothed with white clothes and palm branches were in their hands,
And they cried out with a great voice saying, “The salvation to our God, He who is seated on the throne and the Lamb!”
And all the angels who stood around the throne and the elders and the four living ones and they fell down before the throne on their faces and worshiped God
saying, “Amen, the blessing and the glory and the wisdom and the thanksgiving and the honor and the power and the might to our God forever and ever. Amen!”
Then one of the elders answered saying to me, “These who having been clothed with the white robes, who are they and from where did they come?”
And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are those who came from the great tribulation and washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.
“Because of this they are before the throne of God and they serve Him day and night in His temple, and He who is seated on the throne will take up residence over them.
“none will go hungry any longer nor will any go thirsty any longer nor the sun ever fall down upon them nor any heat,
“Because the Lamb, the one in the midst of the middle of the throne He will shepherd them and He will lead them to the springs of the water of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
