I. God’s silence (vv.1-2)

The Ark was taken by the inhabitants of Kiriath Jearim, and stayed in the house of Abinadab for 20 years.

God was not communicating anything and they longed for the Lord.

Ebenezer - The Lord has helped us

II. God’s condition for their deliverance (vv.3-6)

III. God’s power displayed bringing them deliverance (vv.7-12)

IV. God’s blessing upon the renewed people (vv. 13-17)

Return to the Lord with all your heart.

Remove the foreign gods

Direct your hearts to the Lord

Serve Him alone.
