John 14:1–7 translation and block diagram

Translation

Do not be troubled in your heart; you believe in God, in Me you also believe.

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places (abodes); but if not, would I have told you because I go to prepare a room for you?

And if I Myself go and prepare a room for you, I Myself come and I will receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.

And where I go, you have known the way.

Thomas says to Him, “Lord, we do not know where you go; how are we able to know the way?”

Jesus says to him, “I AM the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.
