How I met Will
Anything I say today is not to boast about me or anyone I talk about. It's all about God's goodness and who He is. Let's not lose sight of that truth.
It's vitality important that you know that me being here at the request of your pastor is all about God moving in our minds and hearts. I want to encourage you in your faith and give you some piratical ways to enduring the trials and tribulations of life and seeing these trails and tribulations as an opportunity to grow in the attributes of Father God. I want to reinforce the message of servanthood through the understanding and aspect of God’s nature that will change our lives if we dive deeper into the understanding of God, the father.
Just a little back round on how I met Pastor Will about 4 or 5 years ago. We connected pretty quickly. He and Tania are two of the most genuine and generous people we know. They have a heart for Father God and people that is selfless and intentional. I’m grateful for their friendship and Godly counsel.
God use Pastor Will to deposit a word that would for ever change me. Back in end of 2019 going into 2020 I went to a night service where Pastor Will was speaking, and at the end if service God used Pastor Will to prophecy into my life a word that I had never heard ( you have to understand I have been Prophesied to many, many times and in the last 18 years. No one has ever prophesied anything that God hasn't revealed to me except for pastor Will. He said "this is the year that God said. you have been waiting for your whole life.

Name of message
Title: "God’s nature, as, Our Father”
Apologize
Before I get started I want to take the time to apologize for any poor representation of your earthly fathers. Because we live in a fallen state. a lot of us probably, most of us had to endure a very bad example of what a father is supposed to look like. So I want to take the time to serenely tell you on there their behalf. I'm sorry. and if your still holding on to any resentment or forgiveness, give it to father God so you can be free to love with your whole heart.
Bible reading (stand for the reading of God’s word)
Again the title of message is God’s nature, as, Our Father
Before Matthew 6:9:
Prior to this verse, Jesus is teaching about prayer, specifically cautioning against hypocritical and showy prayers done for public recognition. He emphasizes the importance of sincerity and a genuine connection with God in prayer. In Matthew 6:6, Jesus encourages private prayer, saying, "But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen."
Matthew 6:9 (ESV)
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
The word "our" is a possessive pronoun that indicates something belonging to or associated with a group of people. It is used to show possession, ownership, or a sense of belonging by more than one person. In the context of the phrase "Our Father," as in the Lord's Prayer, it signifies a collective relationship with God, emphasizing the communal aspect of the prayer and the shared connection believers have with the divine.
Testimony
Keshawn’s willingness to share me with his friend who had drug addicted parents. He lived with his grand parents and was spoiled. Keshawn had the heart to say “daddy will you be a father to my best friend? ill share.” wow!! have you ever heard such a thing. I haven’t. My 15 year old son was willing too share me with someone who wasn’t his blood relative. Flesh and blood did give that desire to him it was Our father who art in heaven.
Give the illustration of holding on to people, things,
Today, let's dive into the timeless wisdom found in Matthew 6:9. Jesus, in teaching us to pray, reveals a profound truth about God – He is not a distant deity, but our Father. The name "Our Father" reflects an intimate, loving relationship between the Creator of the universe and each one of us.
talk about the prodigal son (the parable should really be called the loving father).Luke 15:11
Transition to what awaits
Father God has a plan that is strategic for us/you:
Questions
have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is? Well in Rom 8:28-29 tell us
Are you struggling with hearing from father God? That means you may not be reading/studying your bible, believing it and doing what it says. James 1:22
Do you struggle with seeing God as father? well that lack of faith Hebrews 11:6
DO NOT READ THIS PASSAGE (ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO GO AND STUDY FOR THEM SELVES) In Romans 8:18-30, we are reminded of the depth of God's love. He not only created us but desires a connection so profound that it surpasses our earthly understanding. It's a love that goes beyond momentary struggles and promises a glorious future.
The rock illustration
To know= Strong's Greek οἶδα ‡1492 For in contexts which suggest full, accurate knowledge or accumulated knowledge or revelation knowledge.
Strong’s concordance:
Strong’s concordance is an index to the bible. this allows the reader to find words where they appear in the bible. It also lets the reader directly compare how the same word may be used elsewhere in the bible.
In closing
To truly understand God as our Father, we must shift our perspective. Embrace trust, for in trusting Him, we find peace in life's uncertainties. Obey Him not out of obligation but out of love, recognizing that His guidance leads to abundant life.
John 10:10 (NKJV):"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
In this verse, Jesus is speaking, and he contrasts his purpose with that of a thief. Jesus declares that he has come so that people may have life and have it more abundantly. The "life more abundantly" that Jesus refers to is often interpreted in a spiritual and holistic sense.
Interpretations vary, but commonly, Christians understand "life more abundantly" as a life filled with the richness of a relationship with God, characterized by spiritual abundance, joy, purpose, and fulfillment. It is not merely about material wealth or physical prosperity but encompasses the fullness of life that comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
As we embody the love and trust we receive from our Heavenly Father, we become representatives of His grace and compassion. Our lives become a testament to His transformative power. Through this, we impact our spheres of influence, sharing the beautiful message of God's love and the identity we find in Him.
So, let us leave here today with a renewed perspective on God – not just as a distant deity, but as Our Father, who loves, guides, and empowers us. May we trust Him wholeheartedly, obey Him joyfully, and represent Him faithfully in every aspect of our lives.
