Jesus is the Truth
As I come forward at end of worship
SLIDE 1 “WELCOME”
Encouraging words from worship time
Looking forward to our Weds night Thanksgiving Meal
Love how Jesus always wanted to gather with people for meals
Jesus being at weddings
God calling the 70 elders up the mountain to have a meal with Him
Great Men’s breakfast yesterday
Brother Darryl Willis came yesterday to speak to us
SLIDE 2 “JESUS IS TRUTH”
All throughout Europe with EEM Ministry
This ministry started in old Soviet Union smuggling bibles in
Darryl told us the great need they have all over...... in the different countries there...... for Bibles
You could really feel how desperate they are for the word of God........and what would that really come down to be?
Truth.........with out it...Man and society can become so lost, can’t find his way, society looses order, looses hope, no peace and to the point of wondering why am I even here.

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
As we have been discovering the last weeks of who Jesus is to us
As we want to be prepared for heaven......as we want our loved ones as well..... more than ever
We want to know the Lord more than ever, be over comers and endure to the end.
That’s why The Lord has been taking us through who Jesus is to us.

Today we go to the word of God to see that Jesus is the truth
It is amazing how faithful and true God is
You think about all His promises all of His laws and precepts, there is no one in all heaven and earth that can change them or over come them
Now the problem is a lot of the world does not know that now days
Its really as simple as this to understand why......the opposite of the truth is a ....lie
Jesus spoke of from the beginning when He saw satan cast out of heaven and from then on he has done all the damage he can with really one main thing....lies
Jesus also said this of satan

John 8:44 (NASB95)
He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
He went right to work first thing in the garden of Eden.....and still the same thing today
But praise God after Jesus finished everything on the cross.........His burial and resurrection.......... he destroyed death for us and gave His church to proclaim the truth to a dying world for generation to generation! Amen!!
Look what John said what we have now

1 John 2:20–21 (NASB95)
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.
21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
So today I feel the Lord is showing us how truth works in our lives for us as followers of Christ

Now this saying is thrown around so loosely today in society, especially lying politicians and those who really have no association with God
Again satan maligning the truth to carry out his purpose and desires ....but look what Jesus says and what is required to be set free or how to truly be free in His truth

31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
How we cannot forget John chapter 1 about the Word became flesh

14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.
So we see the amazing gift we have of know Jesus is truth…Gods truth
So many out there claim to have so sort of truth in their own thinking but we have the pure unadulterated truth of God and we are truly being made free everyday we partake of Him and His word!

1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
Everyday people are being bound up by lies, lives have been put in fear because of lies told to them.......in some way or another a lie has altered peoples lives for evil purposes, weather through relationships, families, for power, for riches.....lies destroy
Most of the time they are told by many of some sort of status as having the real truth

King David said how valuable it is to be taught God’s truth

11 Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name.
12 I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And will glorify Your name forever.
God gave us the Holy Spirit to help us know truth

13 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
Every time we are in church or fellowship and together as believers we have such a great advantage to be put in a habitation of truth and being taught by truth

And will make His footsteps into a way.
