i come to you today , in a spiritt of thanksgiving and a spirit of praise.
I want to thank all of you who cam out this morning ,and all of you who are tuning in on facebook.
I realize we have entered into what be called the holiday season, where we celebrate thanksgiving, and then Christmas.
And so i know our efforts once again turn to making extra-efforts to those who go without during this season. We want all to remember ,the sick and shut in .the homeless, those in nursing homes and those who are in need.
But my emphasis today is our lord and savior Jesus the Christ , and I Just want to thank him this morning and give hime a little praise.
Come with me to Jude 24-25
Jude 24–25 KJV
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Father God I thank you for this day and i thank you for your power and your presence, and i ask that you bless me in mighty way and allow your word to go forth.
Ain’t he alright!
Now most of you know I like the modern translation for clarity of purpose, but sometimes ,the familiarity and the poetry of the King james version attracts me , so I like it.
in the doxology which is simply form of words offering praise to God. literally glory speak.
The author Jude recognizes that Jesus is our salvation.
For the author has warned us in this Epistle about false teachers and the dangers that we face ends with this praise to Jesu sand God.
I of course know that Ain’t he alright is not what some folk would consider proper English, however it is now recognised in Webster dictionary ,and sometimes it expresses what you feel a little clearer. Ain’t he alright !

Now

Can you come with me to these two versus , first he Now,
Right now, I don’t want you to think about what happen yesterday , and i don’t you to worry about tomorrow. But right now. I want you to look to Jesus!
I want you to think the one who died for you. I want to realize what he gave up for you i want to see how he bled for you
I want you to see how he sacrificed for you .Right now , Ain’t he alright!
Why because , because he is able !

Keep

he is able to keep you from falling, falling for the tricks of the enemy,
keep you from falling to lies of the false teachers,
keep you from losing yourself in despair,
Keep you from falling away.
i know the dangers , but he there for us
That you is a personal you, that you is a relationship you, that is not a lottie dottie and everybody you! that is a you that focused on relationship. For those who are covered by the blood! For those who have been redeemed!
he is alright church !
I don’t know about you , but sometimes it gets hard!
The newer e translation don’t say falling ,they say keep you from stumbling,
Oh lord keep me on the path i pray. You see in order to .stumble you at least have to be walking. I am walking and i am trying to sty in the light ,
I don’t know about you, bit sometimes ,i don’t want to push!
But when i think about jesus and all that he has done for ,me!
When i pray to jesus and he answers prayers,
When i call on the name of jesus and , he is alright church!
I know that he is able. You see that is jesus being jesus down here. That is jesus saving me right now , that is Jesus reaching out right here.
But not only is he able to fix things right now!
not onlt can he keep you, for somebody know that he is a keeper!
Has he ver kept you!
late in the midnight hour has he ever kept you!
Early in the morning has he ever kept you.
traveling thr dangerous highways has he ever kept you!
in the hospital bed has he ever kept you!
when the beast thought he had you hs he ever snatched you out of despair, out of pain, out of hopelessness, he is a keeper!
Ain’t he alright ya’ll.
But the author goes on saying that he is a presenter.
that this same jesus can present to his father, not only present us but present us, faultless , blameless.
How can that be?
For we know all come short of the glory of God
How can that be All have sinned
How can that be
for no one is blameless not one
How can that be
for our righteousness is compared to God is like a filthy rag!
How can this be ?
i know I have doubts and fears and sorrows, i know sometimes I am unworthy.
but because of his goodness i can be made worthy!
because of his mercy i can be made clean

Presents

How can he present us before his presence, before his glory.
because of the same you that he has kept, is the same you that he has redeemed.
You can’t go before God unclean, you can’t go before God with spot or wrinkle.
Even the Israelites in all of their foolishness, didn’t sacrifice
animals with blemishes!
Only God can clean up
wash me with hyssop
Only God!
So it only through the redemptive powers of jesus that we can be in the presence of God.
Now this is the part , it he presents us with Joy. For he is pleased with the saints who have held on, he is pleased with the saints who didn’t give up!
he is pleased with the Saints , that despite it all persevere .
I know its not easy but hold on.
I know it is tough but hold, for my god is able.
he is a savior for he saved me!
and his glory his light shines.
his majesty
his power and his authority is everlasting and it is his right.
Ain’t he alright!
he is there for us at the very end!
What his glory hold on
Want his power hold on
Want to his majesty hold on
Want the authority hold on!
i want to be at that place where because of jesus there is no sin, no sorrow no crying
where there is perfection and joy
Hold on to you hear well done
cause my Jesus is alright
Ain’t he alright
