1 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

4 To Him who alone does great wonders, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
5 To Him who made the heavens with skill, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
he designed the hydraulic cycle that gives us our weather. We still cannot predict it with accuracy.
6 To Him who spread out the earth above the waters, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
If a tectonic plate shifts just an inch, scientist record it as a marvel. God was able to gather the land into continents from the formless and void water covered earth that he made. “Above the waters.” Scientists are now discovering that there are vast quantities of water under the ground.
7 To Him who made the great lights, For His lovingkindness is everlasting:
Think of a world without the light of the sun or moon. He could have left us in the dark, but He didn’t. Without the moon, there would be no waves in the oceans, no tides.
8 The sun to rule by day, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
The sun gives us both light and warmth to sustain life. Our planet is in the goldilocks zone, which is the perfect distance from the sun to keep life thriving on earth.
9 The moon and stars to rule by night, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
The most sophisticated time keeping apparatus the universe has is the vast network of stars in our galaxy plus We can tell months, seasons, and years by looking at the stars. have you seen the incredible images recorded by the James Webb telescope? Awe inspiring!

10 To Him who smote the Egyptians in their firstborn, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
Even i n judgment God is merciful. Had He given the Egyptians what they deserved for enslaving and harshly treating the Israelites, they would be no more. God’s mercy is so powerful that must act in justice to remain mercy.
11 And brought Israel out from their midst, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
God is the great emancipator. He rescued Israel from their oppressors and gave them freedom even knowing that they would disobey Him. This is a picture of our salvation. He has emancipated us from sin so that we might have freedom in Christ Jesus.
12 With a strong hand and an outstretched arm, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

13 To Him who divided the Red Sea asunder, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
God made the sea bottom a road for the Israelites because of His mercy for them.
14 And made Israel pass through the midst of it, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
God, because of His covenant love for Israel led them down into channel of water and back out the other side. He made a say of escape when no way of escape was visible.
So He provides a way of escape for us too and gives us the courage to escape from our sin in a way that man does not see as possible
15 But He overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
16 To Him who led His people through the wilderness, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
God’s mercy was tested by the complaining of the people, but He still led them through the desert and gave them what He promised to them.
17 To Him who smote great kings, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
God defeated powerful enemies on the road to promised land. You will face enemies too that you must fight, but it is God who fighting your battles with you. He will bring the victory.
18 And slew mighty kings, For His lovingkindness is everlasting:
These kings were famously mighty. They were no match for the LORD.
19 Sihon, king of the Amorites, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
God is not scared of people no matter how well know they are. He is no respecter of persons.

20 And Og, king of Bashan, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
Modern day Jordan
21 And gave their land as a heritage, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
Land promised to Abraham.
22 Even a heritage to Israel His servant, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

23 Who remembered us in our low estate, For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
Just like Isreal in Egypt, God remember His covenant with you and He will not stop loving you.
24 And has rescued us from our adversaries, For His lovingkindness is everlasting;
He saved us from sin into new life through Jesus
25 Who gives food to all flesh, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
His grace extends to everyone.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
He commands us to give thanks, but hearts gladly comply.
What can you give thanks for?
