GENERATIONS SUNDAY

Welcome - Jill and i were in Tampa last week being with a church Family.

Today - Is a little different and has been from the get GO. In our team Rally it was hosted today not by Tim, not by one of our staff but by ELI. YEs he is my nephew but he is also a High Schooler and YH leader

Today is a sunday where we are being a bit more overt about something thats just intrinsically of VALUE here in our HOUSE which is this: We LOVE and WE BELIEVE IN the GENERATIONS across our church are many people who lead, carry the vision and do so much to carry that heart and value in our house

So we continue that now - were gonna have some fun - Im going to get us started - but then im going to invite some of our legends of the house to come and help me preach my three points today.

You ready for that? Ok open your bibles to Ephesians

Ephesians 3:14–21 ESV

14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Who is GOD? ive been in church now over half my life, ive sat through many thousands of messages, Worship services, Conferences,

and if you asked me to describe to you who God is and what God is like, i would say many of the things you would say: Love, Grace, Kindness, Just, Faithful, powerful,

But the best and most complete way is to just say this: God is just MORE> He is the GOD of MORE.

More and Better than whatever it is you have experienced or believed up until that point. He is MORE> He is significantly MORE

Write this down: Never let your faith drop to the level of your experience

why?

Because he is MORE

.... And if He is better and is MORE He can do MORE in my life.

I WONDER IF YOU WOULD BELIEVE TODAY THAT NO MATTER WHAT IT IS YOUVE BEEN THROUGH OR WHERE YOU ARE TODAY - THAT GOD WANTS TO DO MORE IN YOU AND FOR YOU AND THROUGH YOU IN JESUS NAME!

God is GOOD (vs19)- Ruby -God fills everyone’s life with more love for Jesus -When you’re filled with the fullness of God you get to learn more about him  -You learn that God’s in all areas of your life: your friendships, your family, people you haven’t even met yet- the people that you want to know about God

2.God is GOOD at being GENEROUS (vs 20)

3.God’s BLESSING is for the generations (V 21)
