Ezekiel 34:11-20
Psalm 95
1 Corinthians 15:20-28
Luke 23: 35-43
Notes:
1 Corinthians 15: 20-28
It seems the two movements are
20-23 - Christ is better Adam that brings life through resurrection instead of death.
Then Paul explains how and in doing so shares with us the hope for humanity and the workings of the trinity. Essentially asking, how will “all be made alive?”
Jesus Christ is resurrection, ascension, and reign (Ephesians 1: 20)
At Jesus’s Coming Those who belong to Christ will be with him (Philippians 3:21)
Then come “the end” when:
Enemies will be put under his feet
Kingdom will be handed back over to God
“The main point of the whole book is that faithful endurance and obedience to the end will result in eternal blessing and reward, with the ultimate result of glorifying God and Christ.” - G.K. Beale, pg 1157.
