Releasing Signs and Wonders to confirm the Word of God

John 14:12–14 NKJV
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
When it comes to Signs and Wonders and the impossible work of God. We usually shy away and think it too lofty a thing for a simple mortal man to contemplate. It would be arrogant and pride full to even consider being used by God to do this amazing things.
Our perspective must change.

Jesus is the Initiator of the Work

Jesus is the Executer of the Work

Jesus is the Finisher of the Work

This work That God is accomplishing is full of wonder and signs… It is powerful beyond anything we have ever heard of before or are able to understand.
Philippians 1:6 NKJV
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Mark 16:17–20 NKJV
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
Acts 17:6 (NKJV)
“These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.
God has called us to turn the world upside down with the good news of the Gospel.

The method God uses for His work is not impressive but paradoxical and somewhat contrary to the wisdom of man.

God’s method of Work is People. God uses people to do His work

1 Corinthians 1:21 NKJV
For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
So God’s method in using people is to not depend on the wisdom of man. But it is almost foolish and simple.

1- God’s Method Uses Ordinary/Simple People

Acts 4:13 NKJV
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
God is not impressed with our strength or abilities He is looking for Men and Women who have been with Jesus. Those who know him

2 - God’s Method uses Imperfect People

Luke 5:8 NKJV
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
God uses our awareness of our imperfections to bring out His Glory in us.

3 - God’s Method Uses People He can do things through

John 14:12 NKJV
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

4 - God’s Method uses people who were inadequate compared to others in wisdom and skill

1 Corinthians 1:26–27 NKJV
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

5 - God’s Method Uses People that He could reveal His Glory through

John 15:5 NKJV
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
John 15:8 NKJV
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

6 - People Who will become Faithful Servants

Matthew 24:45–46 NKJV
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

7 - People Willing to Become What they are Not at the Present Time.

Mark 1:17 NKJV
Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
