Our fruit is an indicator of the condition of our heart

Our fruit is an indicator of our need for Christ

Our fruit is an indicator of our spiritual growth

So when we look at the fruit of our lives, or the fruit of the lives of others, we

What we need to understand, is that our hearts

Matthew 7:21–23 ESV

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

APPLICATION

We need to take ownership of the condition of our own heart

We need to be in God’s Word daily to be transformed by the renewal of our minds

We need others to point out sin in our lives that we cannot see
