The Holy Spirit Sent

it is important for us to understand that we can do nothing without the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the great beautifier of souls.

John 16:5–15 ““But now I am going away to Him who sent Me, and not one of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ Yet, because I have spoken these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don’t go away the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send Him to you. When He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment: About sin, because they do not believe in Me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; and about judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged. “I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak whatever He hears. He will also declare to you what is to come. Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The Holy Spirit will teach you, lead you, and guide you, so when ever I see the Holy Spirit has sent someone somewhere, I know that good will come from it. It may not be easy, but God will be glorified.

The Help

No one goes to war alone

Luke 10:1 “After this, the Lord appointed 70 others, and He sent them ahead of Him in pairs to every town and place where He Himself was about to go.”

Make no mistake, saints we are in a spiritual war, and God through his word and empowered by his Spirit has sent us out to break the captives free with his message of redemption. God has not sent us to fight this war alone. Remember that, “He sent them ahead of Him in pairs to every town and place where He Himself was about to go” Their job was to prepare the people before he came, just as we are called to do today, and he sent them out in pairs to help, encourage and support.

Here is no different although; the church sent John Mark, the writer of the gospel of Mark as their assistant. He was sent to help in any way needed.

The Purpose

WE, as the church of Jesus, have on purpose, and that is to share the gospel.

The Conflict

So, Paul and Barnabas was sent by the Holy Spirit, was given John Mark for help, with the Support of the local church, one would think everything would go smoothly, but church please know that the enemy will always try to disrupt God’s people carrying out the Great Commission, and this situation is no different.
