Title: ¿Estarás entero?
Will You Be Made Whole?
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
Jesus goes to Jerusalem for one of the Feast Days...
He finds among the crowd a man who had lain there for 38 years.
So sick he could not stand.
So sick he had to have help to move from one point to the other.
Jesus asked him a question: “Will you be made whole?”.
Jesús le hizo una pregunta: “¿Serás sano?”.
Whole: to be physically well, healthy, sound, undamaged, uncorrupted, correct
Entero: estar físicamente bien, sano, sano, intacto, incorrupto, correcto
Jesus asked this man, will you be physically well, healthy, sound, undamaged, uncorrupted, correct?
Jesús le preguntó a este hombre, ¿estarás físicamente bien, sano, sano, intacto, incorrupto, correcto?
This man responded like many do today?
With excuses why it will never happen!
It can’t happen because I can’t walk...
It can’t happen because I have no help...
It can’t happen because it never has happened...
Jesus didn’t ask him if he could or they would...
He said simply, do you want to be physically well, healthy, sound, undamaged, uncorrupted, correct?
Being whole is largely up to you!
Made: to come into being through process of birth or natural production, be born, be produced, to come into existence, be made, be created, be manufactured, be performed
Being made whole is a process!
Your circumstance don’t matter.
Your family don’t matter.
Your intelligence don’t matter.
Your wealth don’t matter.
What matters is will you submit to the process!
Will you humble yourself and be MADE whole!
But it hurts Pastor!
But I can’t do this by myself!
But I have no one to help me!
But I have never been whole before!
Just submit to the process!
