Pray that the Ministry of the Word be Clear and Precise

Growing in The Word

Matthew 4:4 NKJV
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Understanding the word of God is so important.

God Gives Us His Word With a Purpose.

There are two forms of the word. The Spoken Word and the Written Word

The Spoken and Written will never contradict themselves because they Both come from God

When receiving the Word either in spoken or written form one must seek the Purpose and Intent of Gods’ Word.
Isaiah 55:11 NKJV
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 NKJV
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The Written Word Known as The Bible is a Compilation of many Books that were written by men who were given The word of God to write down.

The Word given came in different ways, with different messages.

The form or method of delivery was also different. The Word of God was Given under 2 Covenants. The Old Covenant of the Law of Sin And the New Covenant of the Law of the Spirit.

Under the old Covenant we were given:

Books of the Law or the Pentateuch or Torah; The Historical Books; The Poetic Books; The Prophetic

Under the New Covenant we were given:

The Gospels; The Historic (Acts); The Letters; The Book of Vision

Each one of these books were given for a Purpose, To Accomplish God’s will.

God’s Spoken word is active today, Through prophetic moments and through personal moments of seeking God.

So God’s intent has always been to restore us Back to Him.

The word of God is used to bring us back to God!
It is not to control or use us. It is not to fix society, but to restore Us to Himself.
The Way It Works
God’s Word Is Truth.
Restoration Happens when:
Lies are replaced by Truth
When Deception is revealed
Darkness is made Light
Death is turned to Life
Peace in place of turmoil
Hunger is satisfied
Thirst is quenched
Gives insight Understanding and Wisdom to those who are seeking understanding and wisdom.
It is powerful, Able to change us from the inside.
It is sharp, able to discern things, Able to read our hearts and intentions.
It is living, it speaks life into us being able to speak into every issue we are going through. It is alive, Jesus is the word.
It is inspiring, It brings inspiration to us

The word is to be interpreted through our relationship with Jesus.

Without Jesus the word has no context. All things converge in Christ.

The Word increases our love for God

The Word increases our love for People

John 1:1 NKJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word was given to communicate God’s desire to have a relationship with Us.

Jesus became the way for that to happen.

The word is to be used to seek God. As we seek God we will find the Word also increases our love for people!
Colossians 3:16 AMP
Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.
