Communion
Not very DIY - learnt pretty Early - One time I had to cut this bit of tin - probably a couple of inches - so I thought I needed a commercial Angle Grinder with no brake.
NEARLY, didn’t turn out well - I couldn’t do it.
I’ve tried many DIY jobs over the years, and I just couldn’t do it - I don’t have what it takes.
and I don’t have what it takes to make myself right with God.
It required something else - It required the blood of a spotless lamb.
It required God Himself to step down…and to be put on a cross…and for His blood to be shed on a cross...
let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
As we come to communion; Let us remember - You are made right with God, not through your works - but through your confession, that Jesus is Lord.
