Storms are a reality of life
Storms are a reality of life
God’s will is for you to be holy.
God makes His desires known to His people so they will display His character to the world. The ancient Greeks and Romans believed that the will of “god” could only be discovered through divination. But Paul teaches that God has made the mystery of His will known (Eph 1:9). He also instructs believers about the will of God so they can know how to please Him.

God’s will revealed in Christ removes walls of partition, makes one people out of Jews and Gentiles. God’s will shifts us from fighting one another to taking aim at the enemy. To fight the enemy of our souls by seducing people from following his dark after him to following after Christ.
This is Paul’s preoccupation. His obsession. This is why he work to support himself so that no one will be able to accuse him of doing it for money. He’s doing it for love. For the love of Christ. And for the love of the lost who can get saved.
Do we in churches get preoccupied, distracted fighting each other. Over drums vs no drums. Vegan vs chicken. Pastor wearing or robe or preaching in a polo. Sacred choral vs gospel or Christian contemporary.
