The duties of a minister

Introduction:

I. Godly (not distracted)

-dedicated to spiritual things and hoping for the life to come, and not forgetting about them in the noise and distractions of the everyday.

II. Example

-an example in every aspect, because you cannot teach that which you don’t know practically.

III. To minister to people by the Word (use his gift to do so)

a) to command -to be godly

b) to teach - to be godly

c) to exhort - to be godly

d) to rebuke- when they are not godly.

IV. To examine himself and his ministry

-because salvation depends on him.
