Adoration
Adoration
Our heavenly Father is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Nothing will change that. He is worthy of our praise and deserving of our worship.
He is light; He is hope; He is love.
He offers us a relationship with Him right now and forever through His Son Jesus.
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
29 Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!
Confession
Confession
No child of God has the desire for sin. We are regenerated in through the Holy Spirit and sin no longer has control over us, but this does not mean that we are perfect. We still have flaws, imperfections, sin in our lives. We hate that sin. It separates us from God.
19 I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.
20 But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.
21 I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong.
22 I love God’s law with all my heart.
23 But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.
24 Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Maybe you have a certain sin that you are struggling with and need to confess that tonight.
Maybe you have not been obedient to God here lately in some particular thing and you need to confess that.
Maybe you have never confessed your sin to God, and need to give your life to Him tonight.
Whatever confession you need to make, this is your time to do it! If you want me to pray with you during this time, I am here if you need me!
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving
God has allowed us to see 4 people saved since He has allowed us to come together at the end of July!
15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
God has allowed us to see many prayer requests answered!
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
God has allowed us to maintain a good attendance throughout this transition!
God has allowed us to maintain unity throughout this transition!
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
God has blessed in our financial donations and if things continue to track the same way as they are now, things are looking promising to have another financially stable year next year!
This means we can do more ministry within our community!
This means we can help more people within our community!
This means we can host speakers here out our church and have conferences for our community!
This opens the doors to evangelism, outreach, and community service!
This allows for our children’s ministry leaders to organize and orchestrate a children’s and youth program that reaches the kids in this community for Christ, as well as put on youth events that reach the hearts of our teens and excites them for being a part of the family of God.
This allows for upgrades and additions to our facilities when needed and as necessary.
God has blessed us with the beginning of what shows to be a promising men’s ministry!
The men of our church are the designated leaders of our church by God.
As their hearts begin to seek out the Lord, their families will follow.
20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Supplication
Supplication
We have several within our church who are facing health issues. Some have family members who are facing health issues.
Some of you, or maybe you have family members who, are going through transitions, facing big decisions, going through certain struggles, or a host of other things.
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The devil is always out to harm the church. He will tear us apart any way he can. Let us pray for safety, courage, and a consistent walk with God.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
Pray for the leadership of this Church. As always, there are decisions to be made, ministry needs and people to fill those positions, caring for and leading those who come here and seek guidance, and casting vision for the church.
14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
7 Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.
25 Brethren, pray for us.
