The title of my message today is mismatched socks don't matter praise the Lord hallelujah.

And it's coming from really The Sermon on the Mount Matthew 5 1 through 16. What does past week how was thinking about how blessed I was and how thankful. I was what a songs open up this message Hallelujah. How blessed my family is how good God is to us how good God is to this ministry how God has provided for each and everyone of us.

Praise the Lord. I was walking by the the boxes of donations socks. We had a few times this week. The sauce that this ministry has been blessed with to be able to pass out to those who are in need.

You know that my mind wandered off cuz it doesn't stay in one place too long and I thought of my goddaughter in the Youth of today about wearing socks.

What does young want to do nowadays? They just reached her hand into the drawer and pull out two socks and and they may not even be matching.

I want to pause and give us a special. Thank you for all that helping who helped and who have helped lady p and myself and the church ministry throughout these past years. And to God who's this paration and daily help make this all a reality. This is still the beginning for New Life.

Let's think about this message title. mismatched socks don't matter immediately people will form all kinds of opinions about the truth of that statement. Some people feel that a perfect color match is vital to our appearance. What does subject today goes beyond appearance it goes into what people think about others?

their actions their words their appearance and the list can go on and on and on.

It also goes into what people think about us. Do lifers. Christians And how we react to those thoughts. I have taken a stand for God. In the world were not so many belief. I know what God means in my life, and I know what he means and in your life and the importance of sharing that with others.

Many in the Bible were looked upon as being strange. Strange when they stood for God and Proclaim his message about Hope and Truth.

Now last week I put a call out for somebody to invite somebody to church last week.

Can we see is children of God?

That statement.

That mismatched socks don't matter.

What someone feels about us? Should not affect the way we walk with God.

He has done so much for me. That has made a difference in my life. And it's so many lives. as well

Can you stand tall and tell the world that mismatched socks don't matter. Can you feel confident enough in your face to take a stand?

righteousness and for holiness when the world is heading in the other direction.

Let's go. the word of God and

look at what God.

thinks about socks

Just some of the sermons that Jesus. sandwiches simple description so much like the song we just say.

And seeing the multitudes he went up into a mountain. And when he was sent his disciples came on to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them saying blessed are the poor. In spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted? Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled? Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain Mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers? For they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven? Blessed are ye the men shall revile you and persecute you and she'll say in all manner of evil against you falsely for my namesake.

you are here for a reason

call to flavor and shine.

Jesus spoke of the importance of the purpose in life

And what is Sox have to do? with our purpose in life will socks keep your feet warm

cold feet can't get you anywhere.

Avoiding reaching out to others. Is a sure sign of cold feet. many people in the Bible get cold feet when called upon

Jonah was sent by God to never Nineveh.

another word of the Lord game of the Jonah the Sunnah Amy Tai saying arise and go to Nineveh that great City and cry against it. Were there Witnesses come up before me but Jonah rose up to flee on the tarshis and from the presence of the Lord and went down to Joppa where he found a ship going to tarshish. Show me pay the fare thereof and went down into it to go with them on to Toshi's. and from the presence of the Lord

Where are you running to? What are you running away from?

God said Jonah go to Nineveh. Jonah said no way any ran the other way.

the story of the journey Starships Jonah In the belly of the fish.

Then Jonah prayed unto the Lord is God out of the fish's belly. And he said I cried by reason of mine Affliction unto the Lord and he heard me out of the belly of hell. He cried and thou her deceased my voice. Without has cast upon me into the deep in the midst of the Seas and the flood compassed me about and all thy Billows and I waves pass over me and then I said I have test out of the ice.

The waters compassed me about and even the soul the death closed me around about the weeds were wrapped around my head. I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. the Earth with their bars was about me forever. It has been brought up my life from corruption. Oh Lord my God when my soul fainted within me, I remember the Lord and my prayer came.

into the Huynh Holy Temple observe lying vanities forsake their own Mercy But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of Thanksgiving. I will pray that I have vowed salvation is of the Lord.

Listen to saints of God. It's not how the socs look. It's how you walking them that matters.

So much is said in the Bible about walking in the ways of God. Some of us used Grace and forgiveness as an excuse to live in sin Monday through Friday.

And then try to switch gears on Sunday.

Paul told the church in Rome What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that Grace May abound?

God forbid How shall we that we are dead to sin live any longer therein. No you not that's so many of us. Has were baptized into Jesus. Were baptized into his death. Therefore we are buried with him. by baptism into death

that like as Christ was raised up from the dead. by the glory of the father even so we should walk in the newness of life.

Is he Paul also told the church and collation it matters. How you walk? This I say then walk in the spirit and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. You have to keep your mind focused on Christ where you go to the worldly ways.

If we live in spirit, let us also walk in spirits. You see mismatched socks really don't matter.

But there are some things in life that do. It does matter how we walk. It doesn't matter how we talk. 1st John 1:6 through 7 says if we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness. We lie.

And do not the truth. What if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we should have fellowship with one another. And the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin. Is the holy socks are okay. God wants us to be holy.

1st Peter 1 15 through 16 says See, which has called you is Holy. So be ye holy in all manner of conversation. Remember who you are sayings remember who you represent? Remember how to walk remember how to talk remember who you are with you are Sanctified from the world.

What is Holi?

It's not the missing parts of the socks. but the kind of holy that God is righteous Pure Clean doing good. That kind of holy. Sometimes we just need to look at the opposite.

Don't understand.

What do you think of when you hear Unholy?

All kinds of bad. perverted I've seen nasty vile.

You probably could add some to that list. But whatever those are you be the opposite of

You see it's okay to be good. It's okay to do good things for others. It's okay to invite people to your church.

How do you can make another? request in your mind for the last week. I asked you to invite somebody did you invite somebody? I don't want an answer you contemplate that within your own mind.

And then head out this Sunday and the rest of this week with that same requested mind. Who can I invite to church you don't have to know them? But ask them.

Wrap this up. mismatched socks don't matter much

It's at you wear them and your feet stay warm and you don't get cold feet when you walk up to a stranger that you don't get cold feet. When you walk up to a family member. You don't get cold feet when you walk up to a colleague at work then Proclaim your face and let him know the goodness of God and invite them to church.

Get out and do good. Don't have goals. It's okay to be holding. Don't get discouraged. Stay true. Stay strong persevere through your sadness persevere through your weakness persevere through the season of doubt that you're going through.

Don't get discouraged by the wickedness of this world. The world that we wake up and face every single day that we listen to with the news every single day be a revolutionary being laid her a Christian strong in your face. Jesus was emulate him. Try to be like him.

the disciples were

you are too.

Are you happy with your life the way it is?

Are you watching in the way that you feel is right?

Do a little reading.

If you're looking for the answer to Life's problems, Jesus has the answers. To help you become all you can be.

Keep your feet warm. I don't have cold feet when it comes to your lord and savior any minute.

Let the Church Say Amen
