This week as we continued our Waiting series, we looked at a reading from Isaiah 64 where Isaiah is crying out to God, begging him to act. And what we see in this reading is that Isaiah recognizes his own inability to take matters into his own hands. Instead, he has to wait for God to act. And that's exactly what God does. His people wait, and he acts in unexpected ways to save them.
