10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
One of the most vital things a believer in Christ needs to keep their joy. With joy we are missing a vital fruit of the spirit needed.
Just like the human body needs a balance diet to function properly. Our spirit needs to be fill with JOY to function properly.
How do we get JOY and what is JOY?
just a fuel tank call be refilled Joy can be restored , replenished and refilled.
Joy is a fruit of the Spirit comes from God’s presence!
Joy is an inner well being and gladness that does not depend on what is happening on the outside.
Joy removes gloom, despair, depressing , and sadness.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Davis celebrated God’s grace; even in the face of death David celebrated God’s goodness.
Some scholars believed that Davis penned these Words after he got a revelation of his promise of an everlasting covenant with LORD.
Likewise we also should have fullness of Joy because we the believe and have faith in the almighty God and the new covenant we have with Him. Davis Covenant
31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, That I will make a new covenant With the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers In the day that I took them by the hand To bring them out of the land of Egypt; Which my covenant they brake, Although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, And write it in their hearts; And will be their God, And they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For they shall all know me, From the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: For I will forgive their iniquity, And I will remember their sin no more.
Joy gives a new perspective on how to see trails, tribulations, setbacks, and difficulties.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Joy sees trails as opportunities rather than threats.
Opportunities tom show God’s goodness to work through us and give us the grace to overcome.
Joy is hope of God will and Kingdom.
Joy cause us to perserve
