Left off with several stories of people turning away from the leadership of God, even Moses and Aaron

God exists outside the ends and even the things that exist within are never really finished

the ending of an era and the beginning of a new one

Moses and his generation have died off and the new one will follow Joshua into the promised land

they will go and do a lot of things that are difficult to wrestle with for the sake of following what God commands

there were none like him, who met with God face to face so often

Joshua Commissioned

a heavy call from the God who gives and takes

Joshua has seen a lot in his time already

the words of God here are encouraging to say the least

what is there to fear if we serve the God who doesn’t believe in finality but offers even us eternity?
