It almost seems like God get Glory from giving you bits and pieces of the story and not give you the full narrative.

Any if your not careful, you will start wondring,

Lord why dont you tell me the whole narrative so that I can prepare myself according, what to expect from you.

its almost like

-Why would you give me this dream of impact and not tell me about the pitfalls along the way.

Why would you give me the Job, and when Im at the peak of my performance you allow circumstance to take it away.

It is these contradiction that are making people believe that God is not Safe enough to trust.

But John 11 “NOW A certain man named Lazarus was ill.

This was not ordinary man

-

He was of Bethany, the village where Mary and her sister Martha lived. This Mary was the one who anointed the Lord with perfume and wiped His feet with her hair. It was her brother Lazarus who was [now] sick. So the sisters sent to Him, saying, Lord, he whom You love [so well] is sick. When Jesus received the message, He said, This sickness is not to end in death; but [on the contrary] it is to honor God and to promote His glory, that the Son of God may be glorified through (by) it. Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. [They were His dear friends, and He held them in loving esteem.] Therefore [even] when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He still stayed two days longer in the same place where He was.

God is not Moving

-Lets go to Judea

-Jesus starts talking about is purpose in the earth

God is Ignoring me?

After saying these things,

-I allowed the time to run out

-I did not move accorindingly to the urgency of the one that needed me to fix a problem that only i could fix

Now he came town

-He found out Lazarus had already been in the tomb for 4 days

-He stayed 2 Days extra days while he was sick (Knowing he was a 4 days journey from where he was.

He stayed with this information 6 days.

You held this for 6 days and did nothing about my situation

and now you wanna show up when it’s dead.

and now you are trying to me to Trust again.

Back at Mary and Martha’s House

John 11:20 “When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went to meet Him, while Mary remained sitting in the house.”

2 Different Responses, Same Heart Posture

Martha starts Moving in the direction of jesus

Mary remained seated in the house

Pursuing God in the distraction and discouragement

-Every step toward Jesus was a reminder of what he did not do.

-Im only walking toward you because of what you did not fix in my house.

And then you have Mary

-They have access to the same house

But Mary position is :

l’ll catch up with Jesus when I can -

Imma stay where I am, when I catch up with him, I ll catch up with him.
