The great commandment

There are many questions that people addressed to Jesus?

There is another one today: Witch is the greatest commandment? Why they ask this? because they use to have hundreds of commandments, they try to measure all actions.

The firs are this you shall love your God, with all your hearth, with all your soul, with all your mind…

Why we must love, we must love God?

1. You must love God; we love because he first loved us. 1 Jhon 4, 8

But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5

Like the love of one mother we, experience first her love, then we feel obligate to love her by all the good that we receive for her.

2. Because he loves without measure.

How God love us: The measure of loving God is, to love without measure.” Saint Bernard

3. Because he takes care of us.

To increase the love of God you have to think all days all the goodness that you have receive from God, he calls you to live, he gives you the catholic faith, he makes all the weather to give the food that you need.

4. Because he gives us his son.

Not only looking for your daily life, but for your eternal life.

But as it was no enough, God give your soon in exchange for your faults: For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.

5. Because for you he became a bread.

God loves you with all his strength, because for you he became a man, for your he became a bread, that you eat it and have eternal life.

God loves you with all his mind, there is no one moment that you are no in the thinking of God, even if you are sleeping God is looking for you. God love you with his hearth, since he became a man he loves you with a Divine love trough a human hearth, a hearth that suffer all the moments that you ignore his love.

The love of God is no gift to him, is a question of gratitude because he loves us first, we should love him, and because he loves us with measure, we should love him without measure.

We show that we love God when we keep his comments.

We love God when he put first him in our life, God firs, his commandment, his friendship.

Each moment you decide which is most important for you.

6. And the second is like this love your neighbor as your self

Why we must love our neighbor?

We have to love our neighbor, because he his son of God by the baptism, and he is image of God.

How can we love our neighbor?

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not arrogant, it is not inflated, 5 it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, 6 it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

I we do this we will have eternal life love God and love our neighbor.

Mother Mary you are a perfect example of this you love with all your hearth, you keep al the words and sufferings in your hearth, you love Jesus with all your soul, because you soul was dedicated only to glorify God, you love God with all our main, because you only thing to love and serve God.

And you love your neighbor and you give us example when you take care of your cousin Elizabet, and I the weeding of Cana.

Help us to love God and to love our brothers as you did.
