1. Avoid the spiritual pride.
In the life of San Martin de Porres, one day he was cleaning the house and the Evil appear in the form of Jesus Christ, and he start to hit them with the broom, how did you discover me, because I am a simple and sinful man, how can I believe that Jesus will appear to me.
He put in the last place, believe that he was the lower of all and that prevent from the proud, that make people believe that they are better than the others.
2. The pride of the Religion
The teaching of today is prevented ourselves to use the customs of religion to believe that we are better that the others.
Jesus describes the costumes that until now same Jews did, they print verses of bible and tie on his hand and his forehead, and they believe that are better that the other for they make these things no to honor God, on the contrary to be honored by other people, that is the sin that Jesus is prevent today to use the religion to seen by others and no to look for the praise of God.
How many times you have heard in another denomination, we are no like those Catholics, we read the bible many times and day, we fast, etc. But they in the hearts believe that they are better than the others.
3. The pride of the titles.
But not only Jesus prevent us to believe that we are better to others because, we attend services, is telling us that also we must no believe that we are better than others by our earthly positions. I’m better, because I study, because I have this. Hi is no forbidden the titles, for example to call father o doctor or teacher: In the Old Testament Be father and priest to me, and I will give you ten silver pieces a year, a set of garments, and your living Micah
Jesus prevent the proud, and to believe that we are more for those titles.
4. What make you different.
How much you have love your brothers, I was hungry, thirst, ill, prisoner, naked and refuge.
This is the thing we have to look for the things that make us great in the eyes of God no in the eyes of man.
