MORE AND MORE AND MORE

- The Bridge young adults Christmas party is December 17. Doors open at 5:00 for dinner. We’ll have special music, games, prizes, CHRISTMAS KARAOKE…don’t miss it!
- As we approach the year 2024, the year of MORE and MORE and MORE, I thought it would be good for us to align our vision for the Word of the Lord with some scriptures about God’s desire for you to have MORE.
Psalm 115:14–15 (KJV 1900)
14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth.
That sounds like generational wealth to me. That sounds like the more doesn’t stop with me. It perpetuates for my children and my grandchildren. God is not just the God of right now. He’s already in the future giving more. He’s already in your future cancelling your debt. He’s already in the future building your house. He’s already in the future bringing into your hands the resources that He’s called you to have and to steward to bring this Kingdom to earth as it is in Heaven!
Isaiah 54:2 (NLT)
2 “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!
There isn’t a dollar amount too big for God. Expand your territory. Increase your vision. If you’re comfortable with your dream, get a new one! God is not limited by anything other than what you’re willing to believe He can do and do for you! Some of you need a bigger house so that you can do more for the Kingdom.
So if we believe that God desires us to have more, then we have to discover what the mechanism that God will use to get that more to us. Thankfully, He makes it known.
Luke 6:38 (ESV)
38 “...give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
If you are ready to receive more and more and more in 2024, then it’s time for you to sow more and more and more. There’s no harvest without a seed, and there’s no significant harvest without significant seed.
“If your sowing doesn’t affect you much, neither will your harvest.” - Mark Hankins
Everyone wants to harvest like never before, but it is going to require you to sow like never before. It’s going to require you to believe this Word and make it yours. It’s going to require you to decide now that your giving won’t change regardless of circumstances.
2 Corinthians 9:8–11 (MSG)
8 God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you’re ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. 9 As one psalmist puts it,
He throws caution to the winds,
giving to the needy in reckless abandon.
His right-living, right-giving ways
never run out, never wear out.
10 This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, 11 wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.
God is more than extravagant with us for hte purpose of our giving! He makes us wealthy in every way so that we can be generous in every way. The result of that is great praise and thanksgiving to God. Is your giving bringing out praise to God? Is your more and more and more inspiring more and more and more praise and thanksgiving to God?
