Asking for God's blessings each day holds immense significance as it establishes a connection with the divine, inviting His guidance and grace into our lives. It serves as a humble acknowledgment of our dependence on a higher power, recognizing that despite our efforts and plans, ultimate control rests in His hands. Seeking God's blessings is an act of surrender, a way to invite His wisdom, strength, and protection into our daily endeavors. It aligns our intentions with His will, fostering a sense of humility and gratitude for His constant presence. Through this practice, we open ourselves to receive His blessings, which not only enrich our lives but also help navigate challenges, illuminate our paths, and infuse our days with purpose, hope, and spiritual nourishment. Asking for God's blessings each day is a powerful reminder of our faith and reliance on His divine mercy, offering solace and guidance as we journey through life's ebbs and flows.

- The Lord’s Prayer

Matthew 6:9–13 (CSB)
9 “Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy. 10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
How many times have we recited this prayer?
Have we ever broken it down to understand it?
This was The Lord Jesus’ direction to us from Sermon on the mount.
“Give us this day,” Our daily bread
Why does He say “This day”?
Why not say bless all of the days of our lives?
Well, for one, because He wants to have Daily conversations with you
But mainly, Well, frankly, you may not be around tomorrow to be blessed.
You may not live until tomorrow!
Jesus wants us to understand something

- Life is valuable/ But life is not forever!

Life is valuable/ But life is not forever!
Our lives are not our own they were bought with a price.
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (CSB)
19 Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought at a price. So glorify God with your body.
And the day He wants it back, has nothing to do with you or your plans
The landlord can come and evict you from this earthly body and from this earth whenever He wants Read
Luke 12:16–21 (CSB)
16 Then he told them a parable: “A rich man’s land was very productive. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What should I do, since I don’t have anywhere to store my crops? 18 I will do this,’ he said. ‘I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones and store all my grain and my goods there. 19 Then I’ll say to myself, “You have many goods stored up for many years. Take it easy; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.” ’
20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared—whose will they be?’
21 “That’s how it is with the one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
This is why we must learn to praise God in the moment Every day, because tomorrow is not promised

- Today is on loan

Today is on loan!
So is your happiness, and Joy of life
(Tell about the scene where mom played fainted)
One minute, you are cruising through life,
The next, you are rushing to the hospital for something
Is it only in the bad times that we seek God?
We need to learn that the God on the mountain is also the God of the Valley
When life is Good, don’t forget to give him the Glory
And when life suddenly turns upside down Give Him the Glory for what he is about to do in your life
No one is saying, that trials, tribulations, or troubles are fun
No, they aren't designed to be fun, they are designed for Communion!
That's right, Communion God demands, to be involved in your everyday life
Not just when things are bad,
But especially when times are good!
He wants the Glory!
You woke up with life and breath in your lungs Praise God!
Your loved ones woke up with breath in their lungs Praise God!
He wants to hear praise from you when life is good
No, when life is, (Follow me), Not bad! It can always be worse, besides
Life is more important than the measly little prayers we ask to help us in life,
How about recognizing every day, that He is Life?
Jesus said in John 14:6
John 14:6 (CSB)
6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Life is always, every minute, every day, even tomorrow Should he so grant us tomorrow, in His hands
Psalm 66:8–9 (CSB)
8 Bless our God, you peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard. 9 He keeps us alive and does not allow our feet to slip.
And it isn't guaranteed to last until he answers your prayers either,
He doesn't give that guarantee.
We are to praise Him now, Not tomorrow,
It hasn't come yet,
But if it does, even with all its problems, Praise Him for it.
We aren’t designed to live sadness, or troubles, forever although we are guaranteed to experience them

- We are designed for His Glory, to give Him glory

We are designed for His Glory, to give Him glory
Yes, even with all its problems,
Psalm 30:4–5 (CSB)
4 Sing to the Lord, you his faithful ones, and praise his holy name. 5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor, a lifetime. Weeping may stay overnight, but there is joy in the morning.
We must always remember, that God created both the good days & the bad ones too.
They also belong to Him
We are reminded in Ecclesiastes 7:14
Ecclesiastes 7:14 (CSB)
14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity, consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that no one can discover anything that will come after him.
God is God of the good times and bad times.
He deserves Praise & Worship in both
Psalm 118:24 (CSB)
24 This is the day the Lord has made;
let’s rejoice and be glad in it.

- If God Wills

Don’t make plans without consulting God.
When we speak of what we will do, we should always say if God wills.
In closing
James 4:14–15 (CSB)
14 Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring—what your life will be! For you are like vapor that appears for a little while, then vanishes. 15 Instead, you should say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”
