this is truly what he seeks

so does God

He doesn’t say go ahead and drown

You cast me into the deep

He knows that God could have just left him

he knows he will meet together with God’s people in the temple

When my life was fainting away

I remembered

My prayers came to you into your holy temple

Down into the sea

And the Lord is lifting him up
