Last week we talked looked at Isaiah 9:6 where we see four names that are given to Jesus.
Wonderful Counselor, and Mighty God: Jesus has wisdom for your life, but also has the power to make those changes in your life.
The challenge that I made to you all is to take seriously the Christmas season, not to binge netflix/Video games/oversleep, but as an opportunity to remember who God is and what he wants to do in your life.
Isaiah tells us that Jesus is Eternal Father (King) and is the Prince of Peace. What this means is that Objectively Jesus is on the throne, and is subjectively active in your life. The byproduct of Jesus being on the throne for all eternity, is that we have Peace.
Today we are going to talk about the final name Prince of Peace.
Tonight we’re going to look at some passages of scripture, and discuss the different kinds of peace that we have in our lives, and why that is a big deal!
