Zach, Elizabeth,and baby John Mary Joseph and Jesus

1. Zachariah was an old priest connected to the 24th divisions of the priesthood and Zachariah was in the 8th division of priests.

2. The Angel Gabriel visited told him that he and his wife Elizabeth was going to have a baby in their old age and his name would be John.

3. Zachariah had doubts in God’s ability to do all things but fail and as a result the Angel Gabriel made Zachariah mute and he couldn’t talk.

4. Zachariah finished his duties with the 8th division of the priesthood in the temple and went home.

5. Zachariah went home and got his wife Elizabeth pregnant and Elizabeth says Glory to God for the Lord has taken away the reproach of men towards me In other words God has fixed my problem and He’s worthy to be praised.But Zachariah still can’t talk. Boy obedience is better than sacrifice.

6. Meanwhile in the 6 month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, the Angel Gabriel visits the Virgin Mary. Gabriel tells Mary that she will have an Immaculate Conception whereby she would have a Baby Boy and His Name will be Jesus.

7 Mary said How can this be since I’m a virgin and the Angel Gabriel said the Holy Ghost will overshadow you and you’ll be pregnant with the Son of God without having original sin. And every other human on the planet is born with the original sin except for Jesus the Christ.

8. Mary goes and visits her cousin Elizabeth and when baby John hears Mary’s voice baby John started leaping in Elizabeth’s stomach. Yes Indeed. Then Elizabeth catches the Holy Ghost and both mom and baby are filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. Most scholars infer that John was anointed by Jesus before he was ever born to be a voice crying out in the wilderness saying repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

9. When Mary hears this She writes, composes, and sings a new song saying My soul doth magnify the Lord. Hallelujah!!

10. Mary goes home and tell Joseph about this strange phenomenon and Joseph can’t believe his ears. I imagine Joseph saying so you gon come here and tell me you got pregnant by the Holy Ghost and you want me to believe this. The wedding is off.

11. The Angel Gabriel appears to Joseph in a dream and says fear not to take Mary for your wife Joseph because that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Joseph don’t fight it just go with it. And when it’s the Lord’s doing it’s great and marvelous in our eyes and we have to just go with it.

12. And meanwhile Elizabeth is about to have baby John. Elizabeth have the baby and kinfolk and friends from miles around come to see this wonderful sight. but Zach can’t talk.

13. Eight days later after the circumcision of the baby the crowd said his name is Zachariah, Jr. Elizabeth said no it ain’t! His name is John. Then her husband Zachariah wrote on a piece of paper that the baby boy’s name was John. And all of a sudden Rev Zachariah could talk again. Yeah 3x the people are amazed and said Lord what kind of child this s going to be. And Zachariah started preaching and prophesying.

13. This Christmas narrative continues with Mary and Joseph. Brothers and sisters after all of the antics and soul searching, Joseph decides to embrace God’s will and not divorce Mary. And now Mary is big and pregnant. Lord have Mercy.

14. What’s worst is that the Roman Caesar gave an order that everybody in his kingdom would be taxes and recorded on the books. And that meant that Joseph has to go to Bethlehem to be recorded according to his bloodline and kinfolk.

15. So Joseph takes Mary and start out for Bethlehem. And One Cold December night,Joseph and Mary are looking for a place to stay but there was no room for them in the end.

16. Joseph remembered that his family housed animal in a little cave. Joseph found the cave, light a fire, Mary had her Baby, Joseph cleaned out the feeding trough. Mary wrapped Baby Jesus in swaddling clothes and laid Him in the manger with sweet hay for his little mattress.

17. The Angel Gabriel appears to the Shepherds who were abiding in the fields watching over their flock by night. Gabriel said don’t be afraid because I bring good news glad tidings of great joy because in the city of David is born a Savior. And ye shall find a baby laying in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes. His is the Lord.

18. The Angel Gabriel summons the heavenly hosts and suddenly their where angels as far as the human eyes could see, Saying and singing Glory to God in the Highest and on earth good will towards all men. hallelujah!!!

19. The shepherds said let’s go to Bethlehem and see this great sight. And the Star of Bethlehem lead this straight to Mary Joseph and Baby Jesus.Oh what a glorious sight, and what a great commission for God to entrust the shepherds with. And the Shepherds sang Go tell it on the mountain over the hills and every where God tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born. Make sure that Jesus is in your Christmas activities.Because Jesus is the reason for the season. And this is the most wonderful time of the year.

20.Then in the book of Matthew we will come back with the story of the MAGI coming into Jerusalem
