Introduction

Ephesians 5:15–16 ESV

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.

The Bible is clear in Eph 5:16 that the days are indeed evil.

It does not take a genius to figure that out. Take an inventory of what is going on in the world right now:

War in Israel

War in Ukraine

Crime is at an all time high across the nation

Even if some of us here today do not agree with Holy Scripture we can all agree on this one section.

The foundational lesson within this passage is teaching us, that because the days are evil we should examine how we are walking in this life, not to be unwise but wise, and to make the most out of every day that is given to us.

The question is, what are we doing with the time God has given us?

And better yet, is what we are doing with our time, wise>
