1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

1. DON’T LET THE STAGE SHAKE YOU.

HEBREWS 12: Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,

2. DON’T GET TANGLED. PHYSICALLY, MENTALY, EMOTIONALY.

a. let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.

i. STAY FOCUSED WHILE YOUR DOWN THERE, KEEP YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME.

3. DON’T FORGET HOW YOU GOT HERE.

a. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

i. YOU KNOW THE PATH MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE. FOLLOW WHAT YOU KNOW AND REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU COME FROM.

4. DON’T FORGET IT’S 4 QUARTERS

a. 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

i. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS REMEMBER IT’S 4 QUARTERS. UNTIL YOUR SEASON IS OVER

5. DON’T FORGET WHAT YOUR IN STORE FOR.

a. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

6. DON’T FORGET YOU REPRESENT SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOU.

a. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
