Why did the Light Come Down?

We live in Darkness!

There is so much confusion in the world. Things that used to be so very clear have now become points of contention and debate.

I am constantly surprised by how easily humanity’s thinking can be manipulated. Our society is living a dark period where they have a wealth of information but very little knowledge. There are plenty of opinions but very little certainty. There are a lot of theories but few truths. We live in a world full of uncertainty, confusion and fear!

This is not what God intended for the world to be. This is what we created it to be! By choosing to define good and evil on our own terms we have brought this on ourselves.

However, the Bible reminds us that God did not leave us in a state of fear without Hope.

For God So Loved the World

16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. 21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

We’ve talked before about how darkness equal confusion. Well when we look at the world around us that is unfortunately what we see. Creating confusion is the #1 tool of the enemy. He deceives people into confusion. When they are confused they fall prey to his lies.

7 concepts that humanity bases society on:

Justice

Love

Spirituality

Beauty

Freedom

Truth

Power

When any of these 7 concepts become corrupted and remain uncorrected it will lead to an eventual downfall of a society.

However, through His word God has given us the well defined means to live those concepts out clearly in our lives.

Outside

If your family has the light of God, the Word of God, if your family has Jesus Christ at its core then rejoice, because regardless of the chaos, confusion and darkness that has consumed the world you and your family will continue walking in the TRUTH of God’s word! In the clarity of His precepts and in the certainty of His Purpose!

Living this way will cause your family to shine like a beacon of light in our society. Yes it will be hard and even difficult at times to not fit in however, the payout of someone coming to know Jesus as their Lord and savior is more than worth it!
