Introduction

Psalm 80:1–7 NET
O shepherd of Israel, pay attention, you who lead Joseph like a flock of sheep! You who sit enthroned above the winged angels, reveal your splendor! In the sight of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh reveal your power! Come and deliver us! O God, restore us! Smile on us! Then we will be delivered! O Lord God, invincible warrior! How long will you remain angry at your people while they pray to you? You have given them tears as food; you have made them drink tears by the measure. You have made our neighbors dislike us, and our enemies insult us. O God, invincible warrior, restore us! Smile on us! Then we will be delivered!

Luke 1:26–35 NET
In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth,to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. The angel came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one, the Lord is with you!”But she was greatly troubled by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. So the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God! Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will never end.” Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called the Son of God.

THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT ALL OF THE LIFE OF JESUS- FROM CONCEPTION TO RESURRECTION IS SALVIFIC.

1 John 3:8 NASB95
the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
Jesus appeared for the purpose of destroying the works of the devil.
His entire life affects Human salvation.
--------------------------------------------------------

TODAY, I WANT TO SHARE ONE WAY IN WHICH THE CONCEPTION OF JESUS BEGAN OUR REDEMPTION HISTORY.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

HE ELEVATED HUMAN FLESH FROM A TOMB TO A THRONE ROOM.

Philippians 2:6–7 NASB95
who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
GOD THE SON WOULD ASSUME HUMAN FLESH, ELEVATING THE HUMAN STATUS HIGHER THAN EVEN ADAM OR EVE DREAMED.
Fully divine and fully human
He sanctified the womb with His presence making the womb a palace for the Divine.
Jesus made the womb of Mary a Holy Garden / Eden, where the Tree of Life took root and grew.
He turned human flesh from dust and clay to a royal garment.
By taking on all that it is to be human, He consecrated it for redemption. Mind / Body / Soul
He descended that we may ascend - He became a slave that we may become an heir.
He took on our nature - that we may share in His!
2 Peter 1:3–4 NASB95
seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.
LIKE A TEMPLE BEING CONSTRUCTED BY LAYING THE CORNERSTONE
SO THE CONCEPTION OF JESUS WAS THE CORNERSTONE IN THE TEMPLE YAHWEH ALWAYS DESIRED.
1 Corinthians 6:19 NASB95
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
