THE GIFT OF THE CHURCH

I cannot tell you how many times I have heard someone tell me about church hurt.

It’s a real thing, and it comes from unhealthy churches which are filled with unhealthy people.

This pretty well describes every church and every person right?

The title of the sermon to day is “THE GIFT OF THE CHURCH”

But for many of you, I would suspect that the church doesn’t feel like a gift. At least certain churches don’t.

So what is it about churches that create hurt and those that don’t?

Or maybe a better question would be to ask what it is about churches that do feel like a gift.

You heard some of it last week with Mark as he shared with you the importance of each person operating within their gifts.

Mark did an excellent job of sharing from Ephesians 4 as Paul taught about the Gifts of the Spirit in the church.

Now I want to look at that same passage, but by looking at why a healthy church is a GIFT!!
