It doesn't matter where the wise men came from...
more importantly was
where they were going &
what they were going to do when they got there
No room in the inn has become no room in the end...
many still don't want Jesus taking up space in their lives
It was a long, hard journey to get to worship Jesus the first time.
Gifts worth giving usually take effort.
Ask the wise men.

The Announcement that Changed the World

Matthew 1:20–21 NKJV
But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Matthew 2:1–3 NKJV
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And now a door is standing open before you
Casting it’s light into the darkness around
Stop for a moment, step inside
Tonight could be your Bethlehem
And nothing will ever be the same again
This night could change everything
Nothing will ever be the same again
Since the night he came

Since the Night He Came

God With Us
Christmas :
Christ was born in the first century,
yet he belongs to all centuries.
He was born a Jew,
yet He belongs to all races.
He was born in Bethlehem,
yet He belongs to all countries.
~ George W. Truett
The birth of Jesus Christ is the greatest miracle of all the ages.
God Majors in Impossibilities
Behold a virgin…
"We can never hope to capture the Christmas spirit and make it our own unless we understand that God is so much greater than we ever thought He was. We thought we knew all about God. The incarnation proved us wrong." [Dan Schaeffer]
Christmas Celebrates the awesome and amazing fact that God is ….and that He wants to be with us!
Micah 5:2 NKJV
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”
Psalm 72:10–15 NKJV
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles Will bring presents; The kings of Sheba and Seba Will offer gifts. Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him. For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper. He will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy. He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; And precious shall be their blood in His sight. And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.
Luke 1:26–33 NKJV
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
I’m happy to tell you that that little baby is today the king of the entire world
History literally pivots on the birth of Christ!
Anno Domini(AD or A.D.) and Before Christ (BC or B.C.) are designations used to label or number years used with the Julian and Gregorian calendars. This calendar era is based on the traditionally reckoned year of the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth, with AD counting years after the start of this epoch, and BC denoting years before the start of the epoch. – Wikipedia

Jesus Still Threatens the Status Quo!
“Dear Santa, there are three boys who live in our home. Jeffery is two and he is good some of the time. David is four and he is good some of the time. Norman is seven and he is good all the time. I am Norman.” (Rick Warren)
He turns over the tables in the temple
