On Dec. 23rd 2007, when Tony was 5 days old he came to his first Church service. It was 2 days before Christmas and we sat on the 3rd row from the front at West End Baptist Church in Canton AL, The Rev. Tony Smitherman was preaching a Christmas message when he stepped way from the pulpit and came down into the crowd and asked Hope and I if he could hold our baby. AS He preached about the Baby Jesus he held Tony high for all the church to see. A precious baby......
