To begin brothers and sisters this is the last bible study of the year. And I want us to remember some key things that we’ve covered and learned.

1.Keep Loving One Another

The first scripture is in Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

We have to Love each other and We can’t Let Brotherly Love continue without having a Genuine Love for God. The bible teaches us that if you want success in your life You have to Love God. We been through the storms and the rains. And Pilgrim BC is still standing.

We been through a change of the guards and we now have a new board and a new pastor and we’re walking into our new future. I see a bright future for the Pilgrim BC. And what I see is that the Pilgrim BC is a place where we love God, we love one another, and we serve the needs of our community to the Glory of God. Let Brotherly Love Continue

2.Keep Your Heart Right Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. The essence of this lesson was God knows our hearts and and and when our hearts are righteous and pure and undefiled we can serve God like we ought to.

3. Keep Serving God So He can use you when He needs to. NCV in Luke 2:8  That night, some shepherds were in the fields nearby watching their sheep. 9 Then an angel of the Lord stood before them. The glory of the Lord was shining around them, and they became very frightened. 10 The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I am bringing you good news that will be a great joy to all the people. 11 Today your Savior was born in the town of David. He is Christ, the Lord. And we taught you that there was a reason that God chose the Shepherds rather than the Bishops, Elders, Priests, Ministers etc. The Shepherds or the Poimans as they are called in the Greek vernacular they were already watching over the flock. If you can watch over little God can allow you to watch over much.God is Sovereign and Ultimately It’s God’s choice why He chose the Shepherds. Also it is imperative to wrap our head around the fact that God chose the Shepherd because He wanted Shepherding to be the central theme in the Ministry of Jesus Christ.

4. We Need Each Other To Make God’s Church Function Properly Ephesians 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

“The Body of Christ Has To Works Together” Because united we stand and divided we fall.

So Here’s my prayer “Dear Lord, Heavenly Father we come before thy presence in the Mighty Matchless magnificent name of Jesus the Christ and we humbly ask for Unity and Reconciliation in our Church and communities. Father God we are godly sorry for any un holy, un righteous, or carnal minded actions. Father we ask that you forgive some of our wicked, wayward, and even warped ways. We know that you are a forgiving God. Please Lord forgive us of our sins. Lord forgive us of sins of omission, commission, and submission.O God create in us a clean heart oh God renew with in us a right spirit. This we ask in the magnanimous name of Jesus we Pray and the Church said Amen.

5. Restore, Reset, and Revive us with a New Heart and a New start. Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, 2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

The question asked was How can you Restore a valley full of dry dead human skeleton bones? The answer came back, “We can if we look at it with spiritual eyes metaphorically. Some theologians say that Ezekiel’s Vision of the Dry Bones in the Valley is spiritual symbolism. And so if that’s the case. Then the argument of Restoration hold true. God can Restore all of us. Because maybe we are not dead on the surface level with dry bones, but spiritually some of us need a new heart and a new start. We need to be Renewed Restored and Revived.

6. Once we get a new start then “It’s Time For Us To Be Happy”. Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Some of us have been through hell and high water and it’s high time for us to be happy. We’ve put everybody else all around us before us and forgot to take care of yourself. You can’t do good by nobody else if you’re not equipped to do good concerning your own self.

Listen 1.You’re going to carve out a special time and place that you can tell God thank you for all of the wonderful things that God has done for you. I encourage you to Get you a piece of paper and write down all the blessing that you can think that God has done for you because the bible says

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, It just good to tell the Lord Thank You.

7. The Advent Season Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her first born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

There were many many many other lesson we’ve learned together but It was incumbent upon me to skip a whole lot of lessons and cut a path to Christ’s Birth and tonight the final thing I want us to remember is the

Advent Season or the ( Ad-venire Season)as it is called in Latin. It’s a season that means to come to. It means that it is the season that encompasses the Four Sundays leading up to the celebration of Christmas. Advent is a season observed in most Christian denominations as a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at the second coming. Advent is the beginning of the liturgical year in Western Christianity. The Advent season is where we prepare and direct our hearts and minds to Christ’s second coming at the end of time and the anniversary of our Lord’s birth on Christmas. From the earliest days of the Christian Church people have been observing the birth of Christ.

And on a personal note “Thank you’ll for letting me serve you in God’s vineyard”. With that being said “Let us pray and get ready to have fellowship together. Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus....
