Romans claim about Zeus impregnated Semele without contact and produced Dionysus, Lord of Earth.
According to Buddist legend, Maha Maya dreamed that a white elephant with six tusks entered her right side, which was interpreted to mean that she had conceived a child who would become either a world ruler or a buddha.
Hinduism teaches that the Divine Vishnu, after living as a fish, tortoise, boar, and lion, entered Devaki’s womb and became her son krishna.
As we can see, different religions have their own myth. However, Christianity is different from other religions. The conception of Christ is so important. Macauthor said, “ If Jesus had not been both human and Divine, there would be no gospel.”
The Hard core of the New Testament is is alludes in John 3:16
John 3:16 CSB
For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
What can we learn from virgin conception...
Miracle, not ordinary, not a myth
When the Lord intervine, it’s miracle.
The Old Testament authos describe five women as barren.
Sarah, Abaraham’s wife, Genesis 11:30
Genesis 11:30 CSB
Sarai was unable to conceive; she did not have a child.
b. Rebekah, Isaac’s wife, Genesis 25:21
Genesis 25:21 CSB
Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife because she was childless. The Lord was receptive to his prayer, and his wife Rebekah conceived.
c. Rachel, Jacob’s wife, Genesis 29:31
Genesis 29:31 CSB
When the Lord saw that Leah was neglected, he opened her womb; but Rachel was unable to conceive.
d. Manoah’s wife, Judges13:2
Judges 13:2 CSB
There was a certain man from Zorah, from the family of Dan, whose name was Manoah; his wife was unable to conceive and had no children.
e. Hannah, Elkanah’s wife, 1 Samuel 1:2
1 Samuel 1:2 CSB
He had two wives, the first named Hannah and the second Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah was childless.
reason 1 Samuel 1:5 (the Lord close her womb)
When we go to the New Testament, we read an interesting remark at the beginning of Luke’s Gospel. There was a priest name Zechariah, and his wife was Elizabeth.
The book of Luke starts off with Barren
In the virtin birth, the immaterial (spirit) and the material (mary) were both invoved. Just, as at creation, “the earth was formless and empty” and Dark (Genesis 1:2), Mary womb was an empty barren place. And just as, at creation, “the spirit of God was hovering over the waters” (Gen 1:2), the spirit of God came upon mary (Luke 1:35). Only God can make something out of nothing.
This is when the last Adam was created. (
But if Jesus was in Mary, wouldn’t also carries out sin?
In Roman Catholic, they said that Mary is sinless. We could not find any of this in the Bible.
But we know for sure that the Holy Spirit prevent Jesus from inherent these from sin.
Gary Richmond said, “If they were happening every day, they wouldn’t be called miracles, they’d be called regulars.” I think that’s a great statement. Miracles aren’t regulars. They’re every once in a while, maybe once in a lifetime, maybe twice.
Jonah swallowed by a fish? I’d believe it if Scripture said Jonah swallowed the fish! It’s not difficult to believe if you believe in a God of miracles.

2. Fulfillment
fulfill the promieses and the prophesies
When we talks about fulfillment, it is essential to talk about Prophets?
who were prophecy’s Founding Fathers?
Moses
Samuel
Elijah
Some of the duties of God is Man of God, Servant of the Lord, Messengers of God
How were the prophets Generally alike?
A love for God, Messengers, a sense of calling, communicators
John the Baptist (Elijah)
Luke 1:15 CSB
For he will be great in the sight of the Lord and will never drink wine or beer. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit while still in his mother’s womb.
Isaiah 40:3–5 (CSB)
A voice of one crying out:
Prepare the way of the Lord in the wilderness;
make a straight highway for our God in the desert.
Every valley will be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill will be leveled;
the uneven ground will become smooth
and the rough places, a plain.
And the glory of the Lord will appear,
and all humanity together will see it,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
Malachi 3:1 CSB
“See, I am going to send my messenger, and he will clear the way before me. Then the Lord you seek will suddenly come to his temple, the Messenger of the covenant you delight in—see, he is coming,” says the Lord of Armies.
Malachi 4:5 CSB
Look, I am going to send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.
What was John message here?
Repent and baptize
In a way John represent the Old Covenant, he insisted that the one comes after him is greater than him. (Grace)
Genesis 3:15 CSB
I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.
Genesis 12:3 CSB
I will bless those who bless you, I will curse anyone who treats you with contempt, and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.
Micah 5:2 CSB
Bethlehem Ephrathah, you are small among the clans of Judah; one will come from you to be ruler over Israel for me. His origin is from antiquity, from ancient times.
Isaiah 7:14 CSB
Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.
Isaiah 61:1–2 CSB
The Spirit of the Lord God is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn,
Hosea 2:23 CSB
I will sow her in the land for myself, and I will have compassion on Lo-ruhamah; I will say to Lo-ammi: You are my people, and he will say, “You are my God.”
When we look at these verses in the OT, it fulfilled in the new testament.
The prophesies are fulfill but not completed.
We will be still waiting for the second coming of Christ.
God always fulfill his words...
As a matter of fact, he will Judge us… he will fullfill that in his second coming.
Althought we got grace, The words (Repentence) from the OT------- John the Baptist
and the (Repentance) in the New Covenment----- doesn’t change.
In these world, people make promises and don’t fulfill it most of the time. We must be are aware of broken promises. As Lou Nicholes said, “ Satan promises the best, but pays with the worst; He promises honr and pays with disrace; he promises pleasure and pays with pain; he promises prot but pays with loss; he promises wlife and pays with death.”
We must beaware of these false promises. The only person who is reliable, and fulfill his promises is God. We can see his actions through the history.
3. Displays God’s Soverignty
Own Nothing to No MAN
Salvation can never come through human effort.
The virgin birth made possible the uniting of full diety and full humanity in one person.

“မ့မ့ၢ်တုၤအမုၢ်အလါပှဲၤထီၣ်ဒီး, ယွၤမၢလီၤအဖိခွါအိၣ်ဖျဲၣ်လၢပိာ်မုၣ်, အိၣ်ဖျဲၣ်လၢတၢ်သိၣ်တၢ်သီအဖီလာ်.”
if we think of other ways that Christ might have come to earth, none of them would united humanity and diety in one person.
It would be possibly for God to make completly from heaven and send them to the earth. Or Possible for God to have Jesus come into the world with two human parents.... but it would hard for us to understand how Jesus was fully God, since his orgin was like ours in every way.
If we deny the virgin birth of Chirst, the miracles, we also might minize the soverginy of God.
The very reason we pray is because of God’s sovereignty, because we believe that God has it within His power to order things according to His purpose.
R. C. Sproul
In the Virgin birth, we learn that Miracle happning there, not an ordinary or myth, God fulfill his promiese, and God displays his soverignty.
The virgin birth is essential. Without it, the miracle of Jesus would be useless, the coross would not matter, and the resurrection would not be possible.
