Our Father, Your name is majestic! From the rising of the sun to its setting your name is to be praise among your creation. You are the merciful God, the Gracious Lord.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
We thank you today for the glories of Christ Jesus that you have revealed to us—for in Him we find the great help that we are in need of: righteousness, peace, life, forgiveness, salvation.
As the church, purchased by His blood, we bring our highest praise to Him who has come to us-sent by you, the promised Savior of the world. In his 1st coming He conquered sin, evil when He laid down His own life for us. And after His death, He secured the promises you have made by rising from the dead to live forevermore and you highly exalted Him giving Him the name that all creation will bow down to in absolute submission.
Father, it lifts our hearts to remember the 1st coming—but even a greater thrill to anticipate His 2nd coming where He will reign and rule over His creation, physically and directly. With this hope of His soon-to-be appearing, we can weather the storms of life…trusting in you always. Even now our hope is in the Lord who made the heaven and the earth.
111 I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart.
We thank you for this treasure—help us by Your HS to understand and by our understanding to live in joyful obedience to you. Thank you and praise you in Jesus holy name. Amen.
