Introduction

We as a Church have made a commitment to always put God first.
That basic premise guides us in everything that we do.
Our Vision as a Church is to strive to SEEK HIM at all times.

What is Vision?

Vision can be defined as the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.
Vision can also be defined as a vivid mental image of the future.
Understanding this, our Vision to SEEK HIM is an acronym, one in which each pillar will guide us on the journey in Seeking Jesus Christ.

S – Seek God First

Matthew 6:33 CSB
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.
We commit to seek God first for direction in every decision, whether great or small.

E – Evangelism

Matthew 28:19 CSB
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Because it is God’s desire that no one should perish, we are equipped to share the love of Christ wherever and whenever, with anyone, out of gratitude for God’s gift of salvation.

E – Excellence

Daniel 6:3 CSB
Daniel distinguished himself above the administrators and satraps because he had an extraordinary spirit, so the king planned to set him over the whole realm.
We strive to give God our very best!
Diligence, responsibility and faithfulness are essential ingredients to succeed in anything God has tasked us to do, as demonstrated by Daniel.

K – Kindness

Colossians 3:12 CSB
Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,
As children of God, we desire to carry out the Gospel of Jesus Christ by reflecting the Character of God through humility, compassion, gentleness, patience and kindness.

H – Honor & Humility

Romans 12:10 CSB
Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. Take the lead in honoring one another.
Esteeming others higher than ourselves, regardless of their title, position or status, is our priority because everyone was created in the image of God.

I – Integrity

Job 31:4–6 CSB
Does he not see my ways and number all my steps? If I have walked in falsehood or my foot has rushed to deceit, let God weigh me on accurate scales, and he will recognize my integrity.
Honesty is demonstrated by doing what we commit to do.

M – Mentoring

2 Timothy 2:2 CSB
What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
God has given everyone a purpose, and we commit to impart in others lessons learned to help them fulfill God’s will for their life.
