1 Corinthians 15:58 ESV
58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
Isaiah 50:7 NLT
7 Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.
Isaiah says this in mist of prophesying to a nation that will not listen...
Isaiah realizes that he cannot help what Israel decides to do but he must determine in his heart to set his face like a stone and be immovable. 1 Cor. 15:58
Isaiah 6:8 ESV
8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
When Isaiah answered the call to be the voice of truth, he was to be faithful and proclaim that which God told him to proclaim and allow the results up to Yahweh.
