V. 21 -The Truth in Jesus- all truth communities form Jesus
Not just a Christlike mentality
Take off the old self - Once and continue to take it off.
The past conversion and the daily practice.

Some may think that he is speaking of Baptism.
Colossians 2:11–12 “11 You were also circumcised in him with a circumcision not done with hands, by putting off the body of flesh, in the circumcision of Christ, 12 when you were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.”
Romans 6:4 “4 Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.”
Galatians 3:27 “27 For those of you who were baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ.”

People wrap themselves up in the flimsy garments of their own righteousness and then complain of the cold.
