Genesis 1 (CSB)

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” There was an evening, and there was a morning: one day.

Genesis 1:26–28 (CSB)

26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.”

27 So God created man in his own image;

he created him in the image of God;

he created them male and female.

28 God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.”

This story is the history of creation through the Spirit of God, and the pen of Moses.

It goes on to tell us, that as God gave them free reign over all the world, and everything in it,

But there was one rule they could not break.

The rest of that history, tells us that they failed to obey that one rule.

The world you and I live in today, is a direct result of this “one” rule being “broken”

Christendom calls breaking of the rules, SIN

So, I would like to propose something radical to you all here this evening.

All that is wrong with the world today, and everything that is going wrong with your life today is a

direct result of this one “broken” rule.

You see the Bible tells us that God created us perfect, to live forever in perfect communion with Him

But because God takes His Word as Concrete law,

When the first man and woman, Adam and Eve failed to keep this simple rule, but “Broke” it instead

That perfect-ness that we were created with, and that relationship we were created for, was “Broken.”

So, despite what the god of this world tries so hard for you and I to believe,

By spoon feeding us, and shoving it down our throats, using the Media, News, Facebook, or especially Tik-Toc to feed us these lies.

The problems we are facing today, not only in our own nation but across the world, are not the result of

“Woke-ness, but of Broke-ness”

We as a nation today, are not Woke,- We are Broke!

The world today is not Woke, it is “Broke!”

Is not a matter of “Woke-ness” but of “Broke-ness”

No matter where you stand

on the issues of

Israel and Palestine

Russia and Ukraine,

Abortion

Homosexual marriage

or even Climate Change

It is not a matter of “Woke-ness” but of “Broke-ness”

You, me and everyone here this evening, and even those of you watching this online across the world

are broken,

This is why our lives are so out of control at times, because it is out of whack,

IE: damaged, no longer functioning as designed.

This why we have relationship problems wether between our parents, children, family, friends etc.

Because they are broken too.

We are all broken,

This whole world is broken,

This is why We need Jesus

Im sure that by now in your life somewhere along the way you have heard these words,

so often quoted

John 3:16 (CSB)

16 For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

And brother or sister,

Friend, if you have never heard these words before,

Then I want you to know, there are no coincidences with a God who knows everything,

He knows the end from the beginning.

You didn’t just happen to stumble in here tonight, you didn’t come by accident

God chose you, this night, to hear these life giving Words.

God, Loves you!

He loves you so much, He sent His Son into this world for the specific assignment of

Not only fixing YOU, but your relationship with Him.

Jesus is the Redeemer

Jesus is My Redeemer

Jesus is YOUR Redeemer.

Bother, Sister, Friend,

Another lie that the god of this world wants you so desperately to believe is that you have time.

I remember presenting one of my childhood best friends with this Gospel of Jesus,

And when I asked him to give his life to Jesus, he said he wasn’t ready yet.

So, I would respond, what are you waiting for?

Friend, the worst thing you can do is wait after hearing this message.

Remember, you are broken,

Its got nothing to do with how you feel, or what others are going to think about you,

They are broken too,

We are all broken, and Jesus came into the world not only to fix us personally,

But to fix our relationship with God,

So that when our lives have reached their time, and our souls depart from this earthly flesh,

We will will be forever with Jesus in heaven as we were created and designed for since the beginning of time

Don’t wait friend,

We are told, “Now is the day of Salvation”

2 Corinthians 6:2 (CSB)

2 For he says:

At an acceptable time I listened to you,

and in the day of salvation I helped you.

See, now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation!

Now, salvation is free to you, but it came at a price.

You see, it cost Jesus His life.

He had to spill His blood for you to

FIXED,

REPAIRED,

Made New again

Thats right!

When Jesus Saves, He doesn’t just fix your old self, but He gives you a New Self

Friend, if you are one of those people who say to themselves,

“I’ll come to Jesus once I break this habit, or once I get a little better at controlling this or that,

you are mistaken.

You didn’t get the message.

Jesus will receive you right now, just the way you are.

Don’t worry about trying to change this or that,

The Bible tells us without Jesus, you can do nothing.

This is why we need Jesus, to make us new in Him’

With Jesus, it doesn’t matter how you were born, what you were born with, how you were raised,

or who raised you, or how “Broken” you are when you finally get there.

Once you come to Jesus and surrender yourself to His will,

You are what we call born again.

Repaired, Fixed, Re-Manufactured, and Brand new! Amen!

2 Corinthians 5:17 (CSB)

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!

So, I encourage you to leave this broken mess of a person, and this broken world behind you,

and come to the Savior today!

Salvation is free to you and me, but it came at a price.

Jesus paid for it with His life, nailing it on a tree

You see, when Adam and Eve, the first humans broke the rule, or Sinned.

That’s when they realized they were naked,

God kicked them out of the Garden of Eden,

Explain the Gospel from the perspective of loss of innocent life.
