Thou art Loose!
As I began to read this scripture. It brings me to a moment in time. The bible tells us that Jesus was teaching in the synagogues. A synagogue is a House of worship that did not just serve to own minor cultural services but for assemblies in a study.
I must. Highlight Jesus spent the majority of His Sabbath days in different synagogues teaching. So, to my understanding. He regularly did this; this was not uncommon for Jesus to be teaching on the Sabbath day.
It is essential to understand that back in those days; It was a tradition that the sabbath day was supposed to be Kepted holy. Meaning it was a day of rest, and nothing was considered to transpire from sundown to sundown on that day, only praying, meditating, studying the scriptures, and the teachings of latter-day prophets not working at all.
But that day, Jesus decided to do something different. He chose to heal someone, and my sisters and brother were considered a sign of working, which was a crime.
Now I might be missing a few details, but I just wanted to provide you with a small summary to understand what I’m about to say.
Now please look at your neighbor and say. Something happened on the Sabbath day.
The bible tells me that Jesus was teaching the word; he noticed that there was a woman whom a spirit of infirmity 18 years and was bowed together and could not wise lift herself.
Based on the description that I am reading, it is evident that there was an obvious physical impairment. Jesus can look a little bit above or behind her physical impermanent
We wouldn’t tell how long she was with this infirmity by just looking at her. The bible states it has been 18 years that she had this spirit of infirmity. It was based on my studies. This spirit that came upon her was such that had her was bowed together by strong conversions, which is a spiritual force and could in no wise lift up herself vs. 11 KJV.
That particular verse caught my attention when Luke mentions (KJV) that The word infirmity in Greek is as-thee-neia and means she expressed “feebleness of health, weakness of body and soul” It says she had a “spirit” of infirmity, maybe a belief of infirmity. The word bowed in Greek is sygkypto soon-kup-do and means to “be crooked, bent, under a mental weight, to bend completely over with disease, to be crippled.”
Then it says she could in no wise lift up herself. The Greek word for “lift up” is anakypto ana-kalipto, and it means “to lift one's self up in body or soul” This perhaps might indicate the mental nature of the disease is far more than we can see, the answer being to lift the soul or mind to solve the problem. “Bent over.
And having been so long, this disease was incurable. She could not stand. I can see many things when we say she cannot stand. This was not just a physical impairment. This also was a mental impairment. I could imagine her mental state. She was able to do everyday things on a day-to-day basis. So this infirmity was not just affecting her physically. But it affected her emotionally and mentally state.
Many of us can relate. To the standing up straight. As when we're going through a difficult time in our life. We tend to bow our heads down. So this lady could not even be able to stand up physically. Her spirit was just as crooked mentally & emotionally.
She was unable to stand straight. I’m amazed at this lady. Although She was under this infirmity, by which. It made her be physically deformed, and perhaps her facial expression looked as she was mean. I’m sure she was in utter pain, plus her mental challenges
Her body motion must have been excruciating, yet she went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Not, an infirmity stopped her from listening to the teaching of Jesus. That probably brought some relief to her heart.
I can honestly tell you that I could relate to this lady at one time in my life. I could nowise lift up. There were so many infirmities that cast my heart cast me down that did not allow me to lift myself. To be able to lift and praise his holy name. I attended church waiting to be delivered, waiting for the special touch. That touch that only Jesus could give.
I can tell you that my soul, at one time, was bitter. It was angry. It was full of shame, full of guilt. My soul was grieving. My soul, at one time, did not allow me to lift myself into glorifying his name during my trial and tribulations. My soul was crooked; I could nowise, lift myself to God to heaven. My soul was just crooked by nature.
Some of us may have unsanctified hearts are under the spirit of infirmity without realizing it. This spirit of infirmity is destroying Our soul and is pretty out of place. They are bowed down towards things below. And the bible taught us we are the head and not the tail we are above and not beneath. They can in no wise lift up themselves to God in heaven. We have accepted that bent souls, Such crooked souls that we cannot even turn ourselves to Christ. But that very soul that lives within you calls him; your souls call our God.
As I continue to read the verses. In the Bible Vs. 12, When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said to her. WOMEN, thou are loosed from thine infirmity! He laid his hands on her, and immediately she was straight and Glorified God.
Jesus laid hands on her and his power and grace upon her. Then speaks healing to her. He loses them from infirmity, takes the souls and make them straight, reduces the order, raises it by worldly regards, indirectly afflictions of aiming heavenward.
The men cannot accept that our God can make you straight again that you are no longer crooked, yet the grace of God. Many children are long under the spirit of infirmity, a nature of prevailing grief. They fear their souls are cast down.
Disquieted with them, they are troubled. They are bowed down significantly. They are mourning all day all night. But Christ is a spirit of adoption. Who loses them from this infirmity in due time and raises them Jesus had an abled woman to stand up. With a proper sense of dignity.
Freedom. She knew she was worth saving, and he gave this woman a reason to praise his holy name Priority over the Sabbath day and his security.
In his eyes, sickness, even. Do not necessarily the result of transgression was always the sign of a deeper ill. The illness of the soul. This healing wrath by Jesus is a sign of the promise of more profound health.
Unless. Indeed, grievous should not be kept from us to worship under Sabbath day, for God can help us beyond our expectations.
See, this woman glorified God and gave him praise. Of her cure to move all credits do. See. When crooked souls are made straight. They will show it by glorifying God.
Women do not fear God is with you.
