Peace Child don Richardson minister to the Sawis, a group of cannibalistic headhunters,
The son of the chief is given to bring us peace: in the 1950 a missionary from Canada where to live among the Sawis, a group of cannibalistic headhunters, that live in the south of Western Papua.
They work so hard to learn the language and his customs, but there was no way to convert any of them to Jesus. They have opposite values, one of the highest values was the valued treachery through "fattening" victims with friendship before the slaughter, so when they the missionary told the history of the passion of Jesus they were laughing, and saying judas is our master, he betrayed his friend Jesus with a kiss that is greater than us.
So, there were no way to enter in the culture, because the things that we heated they love.
Also, among them there was big tribal fight that was for a long time, and the missionary with his wife were tired to anted all the wounded and see the arrows flinging, he told them if you do no stop the war, I have to leave you.
They were afraid, they do not want to lose the medicine, the tools, and many other things that the mission use to bring.
The chief convinces his people to make the peace, but how they will show that they really want the peace, that is not another trick to simulate friendship and then eating the enemy.
All the warriors make a gathering, the two tribes, Sai the chief took his only son from the arms of his wife, and all the warriors touch the child, then he offers his only son as proof peace to the other tribe, the chief accept the soon as proof of the peace, if child remains alive that would be the proof of the peace.
Later the missionary speak with Sai, saying that it was the same history with God, God know that it would be no peace unless he delivers his son.
Today we are celebrating this God has given his only son to bring peace between the heaven and earth.
This is the joy of this night, this child is touched by all our sins, and will carry our transgression,
Come this night adore this baby is, son of Mary but also son of the living God, if you keep this boy in your hearth with the sacraments, you will experience the peace and the joy.
Therefore, the command of this night is rejoicing a savior has been born, the son of God has been given to us to make peace, between the human race an God
