Neighbor… We fina take a trip. We are unpacking our bags and going on a trip for something greater.

When the world thought we weren’t going to amount to anything But God Cuz, once we were shattered, then broken transformed into beauty

The World means Earth and all the people in it

Who created the world? God We are created in his image, and I’m sure that when he created the earth, it was too perfection. But then, unfortunately, sinned entered once sin entered. Things started to change, and it was view was now different

See, the bible teaches me in Romans 12:2 not to conform to the pattern of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

The world is a physical place, but this world is also a spiritual place. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities against the power of this dark world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

As in the physical world, we battle a spiritual world that involves carry-on baggage , whether it be good or bad, it’s up to us to unpack the bad carry-on baggage and pack the good to go on this trip for something greater

Sometimes, many of us go through a rocky moment that prompts us to take a vacation.

How many of us have a habit of just saying LORD, I need a vacation. We are just so overworked and underpaid, according to society. Come on now; you already know that as mothers, caretakers, guardians, adoptive parents, and bonus parents, there are so many roles

Manage multiple schedules for a household Create daily routines with built-in flexibility Establish budgets for utilities, food, necessities, and leisure activities Coordinate medical appointments for all family members and follow up with health care providers Mediate with teachers, husbands, siblings, family members, children 24 Nurse social worker Cook clean, work , No call-outs. We just need a vocation.

We have So much on our plates, so much that we carry so much that we don’t see how our current situation makes us feel as we are on the verge of breaking and spending the little bit of money that we save for an all inclusive vacation

We are full of excitement, just ready to enjoy our trip, and we are not paying for anything extra, which is why we have our carry-on bags. It is free.

As we plan, as we prepare to take a vacation, women tend to overpack sometimes.

We have a shoe for every day of the week and an outfit for every day of the week, and we are ensuring that we are ready for the worst-case scenario.

So now we are at the airport. We reach the TSA line, and your bag is about weighed in, and all of a sudden, the gate agent looks at you and says I’m sorry, mama, but the carry-on bag is going to cost you some money.

Wait a minute. there is no way that it costs that much. I had a carry-on bag. So that I wouldn’t have to pay for anything additional. I purposely paid for an inclusive resort so I wouldn’t have to come out of pocket for any expenses.

Thing take a turn. Then you start scratching your head, and you say, I can’t afford to take anything out of that carry-on bag. I need everything so that when I reach my destination, I will be all set.

So I need you to take a moment and ask yourself, did you pack what you needed or wanted?

My question to you is

You find yourself at that airport saying hold up? I don’t have extra money. But I need to go on this trip. Because of everything you have been going through this year, you just need a getaway.

Now the attendant is telling me that for me to go on this trip I need to either remove some of these items or pay extra

Now a women having a blood flow for twelve year, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any. She had spent all that she had and was not getting better.

And the lady with a blood flow probably felt like most of us do. She was probably tired of feeling rejected, betrayed, looked at with discussion, smelling bad, looked down upon, not feeling clean, sick, desperate; she maybe just needed a hug.

She was at a breaking point in her life that she tried it all and gave her last dollar just to be healed and receive some type of peace of mind. She carried so much emotionally, physically and spiritually. This lady just needed a getaway

This lady needed to be restored and set free.

I just want you to think about moments in your life when you thought that by reaching a destination. You think everything was just all right, you’re now at peace, and something just busted your bubble. Either someone let you down, someone betrayed you, and now your heart is heavy, or your bag is overweight. You need to get away

This lady was in between millions of people around her, and she saw Jesus through the crowd, she only saw a runway. She saw that her only way was Jesus, that was her last hope.! and said I need to do something about this excess baggage

This is my last chance. I’ve been carrying with these illnesses this feeling for too long, and I need to be set free. Set free of all the bondage that the enemy puts on my shoulders. Her desire to be healed she knew in her heart if I could only touch the hem of his garment, I would be healed

While we are running to an airport, down the runway so we won’t miss that fight.

She was running to Jesus

What we considered vacation,

she considered freedom

While you were contemplating removing the items from your luggage and because you didn’t have enough money to get to your destination

She had spent all her wealth and was willing to let go of whatever was in her carry-on baggage because she needed to be free.

She needed to go on a trip for greatness…

While we are looking for an all-inclusive vacation

All-inclusive is through salvation, and his purpose for your life will be fulfilled for your steps are ordered

Because he paid for everything on Calvary, we no longer need to pay the price to be set free.

What’s in your luggage today?

Are we ready to take this trip for greatness and walk in his purpose?

I was a lost child who was looking for love in all the wrong places

I was trying to fit into places that shouldn’t have been

I was destroyed emotionally, mentally, and physically by many

I was the plan of self-destruction

I was a person who was addicted to drugs and who drank my nights away in sorrow

I was a sad and lonely person who was loved by many but appreciated by none

I was a preacher’s Child whom people looked down on and cast away

I was abused physically and thought of myself as worthless.

I was on the verge of self-destruction

It sure weighed a lot. Oh my God, it was heavy. BUT THE LORD SAID I ALREADY PAID THE PRICE FOR YOU!!

COME AS YOU, CUZ ONCE YOU COME TO ME, I REMOVE WHAT DOESN’T BELONG

THEN YOU ARE GOING TO BE TO busy packing for something greater.

But who and I today

I am a child of God, for I am born again

I am forgiven, and all my sins were washed by the blood of Jesus

I am a new creation

I am a conqueror,

I’m Victorious and blessed

I was brought with a price. I am not my own; I belong to GOD

let's go on this trip, flight is holy. It is divine and free

So, what runway are you going through today? The physical one where the attendant tells you? Can’t go on this trip its going to cost you some money.

Or are you going to that runway where you will find Jesus, and he will tell you to come to me just how you are with all your heavy burdens, and he will make you and give you rest?

We are going on a trip for something greater, and it’s an all-inclusive trip where you will find the streets of Gold and crystal sea manations. Where there is no more suffering

Prov 4:23 Living into righteousness more and more and dying to sin. Keep living righteously until it is perfect in Glory

God didn’t say he wasn’t going to take her burden because of her condition
