We Build Value Digital Magazine chronicled these words in their June 2023 3 edition. “Building a bridge is a war with the forces of Nature”: these are the words of Joseph Strauss, who designed the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. And it’s true that bridges are among the most daring human constructions, enabling us to cross rivers, fjords, lakes and the like. But that’s not the only reason why they are so fascinating. Bridges also serve to connect cities, communities, cultures and economies. And the grandeur that many of these crossings have acquired over time is such that today we can claim that bridges are one of the most powerful symbols and signs of human progress.”

The Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge is the longest bridge in the world. This bridge was completed a decade ago in 2010 and opened in 2011. It has held the record for the world’s longest bridge ever since. The structure is a remarkable 102 miles long. It runs between Shanghai and Nanjing in the Jiangsu province, carrying the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway across the Yangtze River delta, from Danyang to Kunshan. It is one of four Railway bridges that made it onto this list. The bridge took four years to build and cost between $8.5 and $10 billion, depending on the source. It required more than 10,000 people to get the work done.

That mixed-racial community has becomes family. images of ethnic superiority are dashed at the outset. Israel wasnt a great nation because of its racal and ethnic purity. Just the opposite was true. It was from the unwanted of other nations that God formed the people who lived in Jersualem.
In other words, “God was always intentional about the bridges wedged into the human ecosystem that would reveal God’s love for the world.
