The New King James Version Chapter 2

8 “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write,

‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life: 9 “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

11 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’

There are many warning signs of evil and challenging times ahead. America is radically changing and Satan is the mastermind and has been conditioning the church into a state of complacency and silence over many decades.

History can be very educational, Satan has had a battle plan to silence the church that started many years ago here in America.

In 1954 Senator Lyndon Johnson used the tax code to stifle the speech of churches, so churches could not endorse a political candidate. Then in 1987 another Texas politician J.J. Pickle amended the law to include the church could not oppose any political candidate. The church sat silent and did not take an aggressive stand.

In the 60’s the US Supreme Court took prayer out of the public schools- WHICH IN EFFECT REMOVED THE PROTECTION FOR PEOPLE OF FAITH FROM GOVERNMENT INTRUSION, AS THE FOUNDERS INTENDED- THE JUDICIARY INSTEAD SENT A MESSAGE THAT THE PUBLIC SQUARE SHOULD BE STRIPPED OF FAITH ENTIRELY.

In 1973 the Supreme Court ruled that women had the “right to an abortion”. The church leaders did not speak out boldly against this evil.(just because this ruling was finally overturned, abortion is still legal in over half of our States) Our country has spiraled out of control since this time.

Take notice of where we are at the close of 2023!

1. Our Nation has weaponized our judicial system. Politicians using the courts for political gain and power. Removing candidates from State ballots, when that person has not been convicted of any crime! What happened to innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

2. The ruling class making regulations and mandates against citizens of this nation without legislative process.

Possible implications in 2024:

1. Presidential Election: Verge of chaos, the stage is set. Are you ready?

2. America in two or three wars: Middle East, Ukraine/Russia, China? Are you ready?

3. The prosecution of evangelical Christians for their HATE SPEECH of Scriptural Doctrines? Are you ready?

4. Possible monetary collapse of the Dollar? Food Shortages, Fuel Shortages? United Nations set to call on Americans to reduce meat consumption (November 2023 headline) Are you ready?

If you think that this message seems very political, I would like you to consider this:

** Abortion is not political! It’s evil and the church must take a speak out for the unborn

** Sex Trafficking is not political! It’s evil

** Slavery of any kind is not political! It’s evil. those individuals who make it across our border, most become Slaves to the drug cartels until their debts are paid off. If not their families are killed.

** The woke culture and proper pronouns, Man can identify as a women and women can identify as a man. This is not political! It’s evil. God created male and female.

** Child sex identity- Children are being mutilated by so called doctors because a parent or psychiatrist agrees with a child who thinks they were born the wrong sex. Irreversible physical damage to a child. This is not political! It’s evil

** The government ordering churches to close because of a virus KNOWING that what they were ordering was based on inconclusive information. A test to see how the churches would react? Not Political! It’s evil and a direct order against God’s command to forsake not the assembling of ourselves in community- Hebrews 10:25

1 God stands in the congregation of the mighty;

He judges among the gods.

2 How long will you judge unjustly,

And show partiality to the wicked?

3 Defend the poor and fatherless;

Do justice to the afflicted and needy.

4 Deliver the poor and needy;

Free them from the hand of the wicked.

5 They do not know, nor do they understand;

They walk about in darkness;

All the foundations of the earth are unstable.

The Bible plainly teaches that we born again believers are to stand up against evil and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Are you ready to take a stand? Do you really believe? There will come a time (maybe 2024) that your faith will be put to the test! 1 Peter 1:7 Even to the point of death! Are you ready?

TURN BACK TO OUR TEXT IN REVELATION CHAPTER 2: look at verse 8 Jesus identifies himself as the one who conquered death!

WE CHRISTIANS SAY THAT WE BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE AGAIN!

If we truly believe this, it will impact how live each and every day! (read the rest of the text 10-11) Be faithful unto death!

AS WE STAND! LOOK UP HERE! I HAVE ONE QUESTION....ARE YOU READY FOR WHAT’S ON THE HORIZON?

THERE IS NO SAFER PLACE IN ALL OF CREATION THAN IN THE EVERLASTING ARMS OF JESUS CHRIST!
