INTRODUCTION

WITHOUT VISION THERE IS NO DIRECTION

At Equip Church we have decided to change our motto and retool our vision and mission statement.

MOTTO: Equipping People to live a life of Purpose and Impact.

Acts 1:8 “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

VISION: At Equip Church, our vision is to create a community where all people can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and be equipped to make a difference in the world."

Mission:"Our mission is to equip and empower people to live out their God-given purpose, using their unique gifts, talents, and passions to serve others and bring hope to the world."

Outreach

We are committed to reaching out to those who do not know Christ, both within our local community and beyond.

James 1:27 “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”

Discipleship

We prioritize spiritual growth among our members, nurturing them to become mature disciples of Christ.

Matthew 28:19 ““Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,”

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer and its ability to bring about change in our lives, our church, and our community.

1 Timothy 2:8 “Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.”

Worship

We value authentic worship as a fundamental expression of our love and adoration for God.

Children, Youth, Men's and Women's Ministries

We believe in serving all demographics within our church, providing tailored spiritual guidance to children, youth, men, and women.

Goals:

To be a church that excels in evangelism and outreach.

To foster discipleship and spiritual growth among our members.

To create a culture of continuous prayer and authentic worship.

To develop robust ministries for children, youth, men, and women that cater to their unique spiritual needs.

Raise up schools in 3rd world countries.

Set the trend for revival.

Will have 100 people every weekend giving their lives to Jesus.

Running consistently 250 by December.

Spending time with God (Prayer, worship, bible readying and study and listening for God’s voice). Matthew 6:6 (NLT)

6 But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NLT)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

Sharing your story (Evangelism)

Opportunities to serve every week and month.

Learn to share your faith. 1 Peter 3:15 (NLT) Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.

Spending time with others (Community)

Hebrews 10:24–25 (NLT)

24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Using your gifts (Serving)

Colossians 3:23 NLT

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

1 Peter 4:10 “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
